Yesterday we worked on the track, racking all the rocks out with, Zito and me. Boldi came out to drain lake Bighorn, Boldi brought out this pump that I have never seen before. It's called the" garbage pail" Boldi hooked up 2 fire hose type things to it and it took 2 hours for our problem area to go away. We were going to fix all area needed, but it snowed 2' today. Boldi is coming in with his tractor and going to make a 'V Ditch " to get the problem to one area. Boldi does this for a living, he KNOWS what he is talking about. The crew at BIGHORN was just winging it before.
I as the TO would like tp thank, Mark, Matt, Butch and Zach for helping me with yesterday. With what we did and the snow we got Bighorn will never have had a nicer track since my son has rode there. We will be redoing the third straight and maken turn two and three better, bigger and faster. I can't wait till this weather in Reno gets better, so we can move on.

Can't wait to start riding Greg!!! I'm as anxious as a kid waiting for Christmas...

All the work we put in on Saturday went well. The track held up through all of the weather we have had and now after this storm and our track grooming it will be nicer than it ever has been. We are going to make a few changes and improvemnets so the RCQ will be awesome. Make sure to be at this one cause we will have some good stuff like raffles, vintage race, and a solid Pro Am. Roseville has had some good Pro Am's lately so plan on a great start to the year for us.

The more local racing the better! I'd really like to see a strong old guy cruiser class at both tracks. Lets get our rider counts up and have a blast with some good racing!

I can't wait to coming to the Bighorn BMX for one day.....just want to against 41-45 cruiser, ha ha.

For the 2010 season at BIGHORN BMX we have a few cool things going on.
When you race our track 10 times you get a BIGHORN T-Shirt.
You RACE at BIGHORN 25 times you get a HOODIE, nice quality one, not the ones you can see through.

Also for the Carson members ONLY, you renew your membership at BIGHORN and you get a FREE race.
PRO-AM will happen at least once a month, we hope more, if fans and riders are into the race.

Proctor....um, just small a qustion about camping free all weekend? but for me will be sleep in the motel 6 which this is what I need taking shower before go there.

Well here it is. One week away from the opening race at BIGHORN.
They crew is out there yesterday and today, redoing the whole third straight, maken turn two and three wider, and rolling the track for the first time this seson. Two tractors and a roller and 15 people should do the trick....
We were to be open today, but the weather and the crew could not get together till this weekend.
I would like to thank ALL who are there helping BIGHORN become a better place.

How was the racing today Greg? Garrett and i would have liked to be there but we had too many things going on.

Opening day went great as we had over 60 riders and 10 new sign-ups.
We had a full rack of 6N That is AWSOME...
Practice was of the hook yesterday with 2 new sign-ups and 5 membership forms handed out.
I would like to thank Matt, Mark, Jim and all the people that came to the track while I was gone to help get the track ready for the season. THE TRACK HAS NEVER LOOKED BETTER.

Proctor, I don't think I won't be there on May 15th...well, my rear axles tubing isn't good... hard time to looking for those axle tubing for fit on my Bombshell's rear cassette hub...but I might have to get other new wheelset from Doug Williams might building up new custom wheelset for me.....I mean new custom wheelset is going be look killer! hope see you Summer national and also hope Doug will finished my new custom wheelset before Summer national, cross fingers!

When did Doug start building wheels?

I got PM from Doug and say he won't be build wheelset....well, Doug sold his bike shop to his other partner some reasons.

So, I just talked to NV02CRUISER and asked him a favor to his friend who is work the bike shop in Carson City to get new cassette hubset for me....beside I have alot to do with my bill due is killing me a bit! so I will not be races much next month....but will find out if I have enough $$ for get back races again before summer national.

Thanks to all of the Ladies yesterday for coming out and having a blast at the all girls clinic myself and Stephine Higgins did. It was awesome seeing all 10 of you young ladies learn and then apply the new skills during the clinic and then during the race . I hope to do it again soon . and to all of the young ladies that race BMX all over the world keep on racing you all rule.

Yep,
John left the hospital at noon today. Was there with him when he left.
John has a good o'le fashion banged up lid.
His brain is not telling his left side to work yet. That was as of yesterday at 2:00pm. He had a CT ( second one ) around noon yesterday and DR kept him over night again. He had a third CT around 7pm yesterday and it was getting better.
This morning around 5am he was able to move his left leg. Around 8am he was using walker to get around.
The DR gave him the OK to go home today.
They gave him a walker, ummmm he bought it and he walked out with me and his dad.

I am not able to ride or race after getting hit by a Jeep. So I am only able to offer advice and help. If you have any questions come on out to BIGHORN BMX tomorrow at 10 .

Had our first $5.00 RANDOM GATE RACE for the year and WOW what a turn out. A lot of people from Carson showed up, and that was great. We changed sign-up to 5:30-6:30 on Thursdays.
Don't forget Saturdays race times are 2-3:30 and we race 15 min after we post.

In Tahoe I only had my 20" bike, didn't bring the cruiser. I didn't feel like racing teenage experts so I went and raced at Bighorn instead.

I plan on being in Roseville the 21st and 22nd, see you there.
