How many sets of these cranks are they going to build ???...I thought I read somewhere that there was only going to be 250, but I just bought another set for no reason other than needing them and not being able to get them and these are stamped #400. My first set was #28 and they are both 180's.

Ed would be in the know on this. Ed, what happened to the cranks that were sent back for exchange?
ColoredTuffs.com
My guess is that they were powder coated in black, and will be available soon...

Just chatted with a guy named Steve from Profile. He set the record straight. Basically I asked him if there was a 250 piece limit on this line, and that a friend had a set marked under #400. He stated that was false. hat he told me is there is a limited set of the Retros that were made, and have been released. He would not disclose the number to me, but he did tell me they are no longer making them and do not intent to make anymore. He would not disclose the amount made, just that they are no longer in production. For all of you lovers of these Retros, Steve did tell me that when they made these, the same fabricator/welder that made the original cranks in the 80's also made this retro line. So get them while you can, Thanx Steve for taking the time out to answer my questions.
