Getting an '08 SE Racing "OM Flyer" - basically new and want to get rid of the yellow seat, grips and tires and swap for black - Looking for some good suggestions on a 26x1.95 tire recommendation.

I have heard that Kenda makes a nicer skinwall than the stocks - anyone know what model this would be?

I like a tire like the Maxxis Holly Roller but see the narrowest width is a Holly Roller Urban in 2.20 - anyone know if that will rub on the rear chainstays of a '08 OM?

Any adivce greatly appreciated as Roanld wants his yellow parts back in a snap -Thx

I put Kenda K Rads on my Kappa K26. They are 26x1.95. I got them from coloredtuffs.com. I like them.

for a go-fast tire you'll prob like the maxxis 310's , but its a very thin walled tire, that needs lots of air.

Ed Ferri at ColoredTuffs.com hooked me up with a set of 1.95 skinwall K-Rads. I too could not hang with the McDonald's color scheme on my OM Flyer. I like 'em but this bike spends 95% of it's time riding around the neighborhood. Curbs, potholes etc... Back when the bike was red, Plain old blackwalls looked good on it but the skinwalls make it more old school.
