IMO, and I`ve said it before, trials takes more dedication than any discipline of BMX short of flatland. Not that it`s "harder", it just requires so much more commitment, time wise.

There is one dude who`s name escapes me who`s so incredible he has taught himself how to not use those little corrective hops when landing or setting up a trick. It`s just hop, stick, next trick.
Race Inc dude
maybe so, regardless if it's street, trails, flatland, race, park, there's always those in each that are set apart from the rest. It's all mind blowing to me. I live in the beautiful UP of Mi and it's hilly up here and I know many people with land who are willing to let me set up some trail riding but I need a machine and I am old but I have the desire and the bikes. I gotta do something while I can and trails seems like the easiest to get into for jumps, that's what I want to experience. I can always build them bigger and better. I can start off with tables and than start gappin. I raced as a kid, raced for 3 seasons up till 08 (06-06) and started jumping there, of course small but have the love. I gotta do it!

The cool thing about trials is that like flatland, you don`t need a place to go do it, really. You don`t need a track, or a skatepark, or dirt jumps. You just go out and find things to hop onto and ride across. Like in the video linked above...if you have the right tree you can even learn flairs LOL

OMG! That guy is just awesome.

Most of the trials riding I've seen has been done on motorcycles and its more slow and balance. I have seen some videos from trials competitions (both motorcycle and bicycle) where the course goes up and the rider is constantly climbing, I'lll try to find it. This guy is awesome to watch and has the skills. It's funny to see the peoples reaction like when he jumps off the bridge. There is a guy that does street riding on his motorclcle. I think its been posted here before.

Hey indy, the guy you are thinking about that rides street on a motorcycle is Julien DuPont. That guy has skills! Here's a couple vids:

Ok... that is just repulsive.
I used to throw on a smaller chain ring from time to time on the old Quadangle and ATTEMPT to do stuff sorta like that, but jumpin' Jehosaphat! That is... words can't say really.
I really like the reactions of some of those people blink.gif
