22 pins per side looks like a lot of gripping power! I bet they would bite into my Vans like a doberman on a steak!

I have a set of caged pedals and they are works of art. The quality is outstanding.
I am going to use them to beat Ed at Rockford next year.

My secret weapon is on a weld jig in Iowa, the pedals are just the icing on the cake.
Gonna have to have the Bullseye stem lock and some new Bullseye hubs too.

Hey Jason, I think the cranks that Steven has been selling and showing are all just refinished old stock. And I believe I have gotten the last set of chrome ones from Steven early this year. COOL Pedals though!!!!!!!!

Stopped by Planet BMX today to pick-up my Comp III skinwalls. I got to see all the Bullseye goodies while I was there. The fit & finish on this stuff is amazing. Really cool stuff. Like Steve McQueen kinda cool.
Hey Ed, Let me know if you need so help around the shop. You can pay me in "Bullseye Bucks".

Anyone know what the weight of the hubs are? How would they compare to profile and chris king for a race built bike?
ColoredTuffs.com
Sep 2 2009, 10:22 AM
8.4 ounces for the front Bullseye hub
9 ounces of the rear Bullseye hub
In my opinion, these hubs with a White Industries freewheel would be better than most companies cassette hubs....

How do I get a replacement rear axle for a Bullseye hub? Mine got dented from simple brakeless 180s and Rock Walks. So they aren't holding up well laced to my Arayas and I retired this wheelset "for show purposes..."

I got my platform pedals and stem lock yesterday. These pedals are almost too nice to ride on, they would make great x-mas tree ornaments. And the stem lock is a work of art too. I can't say enough about how nice this stuff is.

Just as an FYI, Steven and I have had email exchanges on a few occasions about him coming on Vintage to promote Bullseye products while not being an advertiser. So whether he is staying away as part of observing those rules, or as a protest of same, it is probably best for all to refrain from bumping this thread anymore, as it will probably be met with crickets.
Check out Urban Ride Shop and Planet BMX for Bullseye Products.
Best,
M

You were never told not to bump the thread. But it looks pretty foolish to see
BUMP
BUMPITY BUMP (2 days later)
HELLLLOOOOOO? (a day later)
I guess there is nobody home...and then other statements of frustration on the part of the poster (later that week)
BUMP for HOPE! (a week later)
Etc, Etc., Etc.
It has been SAID no response will come, so go to Bullseye's site, or call them, or do something other than waiting for a Bullseye update that will never come here on Vintage.
Why spam a thread that way?
M
I haven't been BUMPING this thread or typing HELLO every other day to keep the thread alive. I'm just hoping you haven't run off all the members who may know the Bullseye guys or someone who may be associated with them. Who knows, maybe they've been sent pictures or information about when some of these cool products may hit the shelf. If they had pics or info to share, they could have posted them here for others to see.
Not sure if that will happen now though. The word REFRAIN carries a bit of an attitude in my opinion. It sounds more like a command rather than a suggestion to me.

You want to talk about statements that carry attitude? How's "I'm just hoping you haven't run off all the members..."
That gets the "cherry-on-the-turd-sundae" award. Congratulations.

LOL! So now I have to carefully measure the tonality of my phrasing, lest Chantilly-lace fragile egos get bruised. When you're in a library and the librarian says "shhh!" does that send you into the streets in protest?
Feel free to bump all you want. Just don't be surprised if your bumps don't last very long. it's my job to keep the weeds trimmed around here. Bump posts, in general, are the weeds in our little garden of Eden. I'm sorry if you can't handle a little firmly suggested phrasing. If that's going to make you huff, get all offended and go on tilt, better get back to the Museum right away. I'm sure there is a 90 page thread on some useless topic waiting to be argued to death by one post that is four words, followed by the next, as long as "Industrial Society and Its Future," followed by 89.8 pages of basically the same positions, restated over and over and over again. Don't miss out on all the fun.
