I am still waiting on frames to come back from powder, parts also. Waiting to find some pedals and cranks and some $ to finish up the last batch of bikes, then i will still take donations and collect parts and build slow over the winter, and either give MORE bikes out in spring or next christmas, if i can keep this going I will.....

Building a 1980 mxii replica kinda. late 80's frame that just had V brake mounts added to make it more modern. V bars, redline stem, older redline alum sproket restored like new, older NOS VP anodized red pedals, Repop decals, SE red blitz seat, New sun ringle race wheels, IRC tires, UNI RED hotdog grips, SINZ BRAKES, exc.. Old looking, but could be a great race bike still today.

Going to run Sinz V brake KIT, also need to find some cranks. SE red blitz lightning bolt seat, Red KMC chain. Old looking, but new updates will make this a flashy bike at the track.

Since given bikes away across the states hasnt been easy, or people havent requested a family in need. I placed a local nominate a family. I am very picky on who I choose especially the higher dollar race bikes. If the kid dont come with to see the bike that fits him, i ask the family questions, to make sure it is going to be loved and raced. Same as the freestyle bikes.

I have given away a Hyper Hornet donated from MR smith and a few odds and ends to our local track for loner bikes so many kids can enjoy the 1 bike. I have about 3-4 race bikes left, 4 freestyle. and some misc stuff thats complete. I also have a few frame and forks to either build or give someone a good start on making them up a package but they will have to finish the bike...

WHAT DOES EVERYONE THINK I SHOULD DO? Since no across the country requests, keep them local and support my track?

Take your time.
Your hardwork and time and money should go to someone who really deserves it and will use the bikes and take care of them.

Work with BMXMANIA, BMXNEWS and VINTAGE to do a "Nominate A BMX Family In Need" for each bike....when you are ready.... Give the specifics of the bike and the recommended age/size of rider.. They will come to you ...... and you can be picky and only choose the most deserving... local bmxers know what family needs help... and they will get to you...

I have 1 more frame only being sent out. For this frame I could really use any expert parts i could get. I have a MCS holeshot expert. id like to atleast find a fork, and some Misc parts. It needs repaint anyways and new decals, but in great shape!!!

Alloy V bars of unknown NOS brand. They were scratched anodized. I have many of these. Fresh powder donated by powerplus, bars from Eric Nordstrom. NOS sticker from seattlebikesupply. NOS V bar pad also from eric fresh from the wrapper.

Chrome Chromo Forks from Porkchopbmx. Blasted and Fresh black powder from powderplus in quincy.

Starting to look good. Just need some flight cranks, a NEW vintage era Red seat. I want a SE blitz or a quilted padded one from porkchop.

Another family coming over tonight to pick out a bike. I have 3 that will fit there child great. I will have them choose. I have a feeling they will choose the hyper boxster, or the redline MXii replica. That means Ill have to hurry and finish it!!!

Hyper boxster Went to a very deserving kid tonight. I swaped out the flight cranks for some I got from porkchopBMX. Pictures at xmas time as for it is also a supprise...

The redline flights are going on the mxii Fun bike. Got the cranks on the mx tonight, forks, headset, sproket, anodized pedals. I wanted a New SE blitz seat, but colored tuffs is sold out and I ran out of money. So a seat will have to wait. Brakes are on order, and up in the air on what to do for wheels....

Great to here people who need good bikes are getting them.

THATS JUST A START TO FINISH THESE PROJECTS

Today I cleaned up and redid the Redline Uplifter stem donated by Indylodown. It is painted in a red anodize paint, and came out real nice, should match the pedals and the stickers real well. Trying to keep the bike 90% redline.

can't wait to see it did you polish the stem first? I have been wondering about the anodized paint but never ventured to try it. I guess we'll see when you post pics.

the anodized paint we use for these bikes is by Duplicolor. its a 2 stage paint. they have u use a metallic silver base then the anodized color of choice. it looks real good but i call it more of a candy color paint then anodize finish. either way it turns out nice

Stem Is from Indy. It is not period like the cranks, but atleast it is a true redline piece. I think they called them the uplifter. Turned out pretty good!

I am looking for a black Schwinn seat for a schwinn cruiser I have. The black schwinn seat that has the 2 stripes and the S logo in the middle. I know they also made matching grips. I have a beautiful schwinn crusier f/f here with a new seat post and GHP cruiser bars in white on the way. So black and white is the color combo and I think the schwinn Items would make it look super slick... I have a seat but its all ripped and my own, so I am for a very nice set.. They also made pads sets too!! They had 2 differnt style seats, a more slim (which id like) or a bigger seat, but beggers cant be choosers.

Also need a head set for this bike also.

I would like to start off by saying Thank you for all you do to make these BMX bikes a reality for so many kids… I am a mother of triplet 12 year old boys and without the donations you have made, my boys would not have the bikes they currently have (getting for Christmas)… My boys asked for BMX bikes for Christmas and my first thought was “how am I going to do that?”, but with the donations and generosity you have given, it is now possible. I know that Thank you will never be enough to show the gratitude I have for all of your donations and time, to the sponsors for their donations of parts, to Nick and Jeff for putting the bikes together and to Kristen for being so patient as to put up with the mess in the house and the time that Nick puts in on the bikes… Once again THANK YOU so much!

Well by wednesday he will have a NEW red matching helmet (already with MCS, UNI and STANDARD stickers already applied)! , new gloves, and some Cool MCS stickers and shirt just for him from MCS. Gift box going out today!!!

Everyone who got a race bike from me, now gets a helmet!!! thats to a great donation....
