Just received the shipment I was waiting for, I now have a box to put this Hyper frame in. I'll try to get over to the post office this week. I think I have a Tektro V-brake for it to go along with the frame, seat post and bottom bracket.

Do you have bars for it? I just put new bars on my bro's bike and I'll see if he wants me to ship out his Fly Donny Robinson bars with the frame.

We could always use extra bars. I have a brand new set of DK for your hyper build in black. DK seat, but no post. DK matching black stem, grips and lever. Thats what I have so far. What BB do you have, so I can find some crank arms, does it have the spindle, or do i need a spindle also? and need a nice racing fork for this build. and it should be near complete.

But bars could be used for upcoming projects. Cram the box full if you like, all extras will get used for sure.....

The frame uses an american bottom bracket. I have a lightly used (one ride) FSA sealed bottom bracket with the frame. It uses a 19mm spindle (flight, profile etc..), I don't have a spindle unfortunately. I have a set of flight cranks, but I'm going to build a cruiser and will be using those on the cruiser until I can get another set of Rhythm pros. I do have a seatpost that fits the Hyper as well. It does need a 1.25" seat clamp though as I don't have an extra. It also uses a standard headset which I don't have.

VERY NICE. I HAVE SET A NEW BLACK REDLINE FLIGHTS THAT GOT DONATED, BUT DONT KNOW IF I WANT TO USE THEM ON THE HYPER OR THE STANDARD FRAME THAT GOT DONATED. ONLY CRANKS I HAVE, BUT IT DOES HAVE A SPINDLE, NO CHAINRING.

Nick was wondering if you needed any 24" frames? also have a 2008 haro sx xl frame that can donate. (cruiser frames are early 90's robinson and a 200? huffy primus cruiser. they are in ok shape. mechanicaly excellent paint is so so)

I will have many builds going on, and will pile parts next to the bikes, so we can do one right after another.

Please also forward this to your local police stations with link to our newspaper article, Alot of times if a bike is not picked up after 30days they give them away to causes like this, or so on.. Im awaiting to here from mine. Could be a good way to find that special score!!! and not pay a dime!!

I'm sure those can be used.

Haro sport with built in bashguard showed up today. BEAUTIFUL !!!!! IS ALL I HAVE TO SAY "NOS" A f/f, headset, gyro, cables, pegs, exc... white splatter type paint. Its nuts looking!!!!!!!

I could use some ERA 1991 haro parts. Freestyle bars and stem for the NOS haro i Have, pedals and cranks, layback seat post, seat. I may through on some blue tuffs and some other donated items and make her complete.

bike build number 1 almost done. all the schwinn parts are painted black and this week ill paint the frame and start assembly. will have some pics soon.

Schwinn and DK should be done around same time. 1 race bike, 1 freestyle bike!!!

All this hard work is finally starting to come together, and i am glad to see all of you donate. For that i thank you. So i am in need of some advice. How should we pick our kids? I was thinking of having you guys find someone who really needs a bike and send a short letter on why he or she wants a bike, or needs a bike. Then me and Rick and the ladies can pick the best letters, and send bikes out random. What are your ideas and thoughts. I want these to go to someone interested in getting into the sport and being serious. Alot of people have donated there time, $ and alot of money in parts. One bike we want to do local, the others would and could be shipped all over the usa.

I just want to make sure they go to a loving home, some of these bikes will be worth quite a bit of $ and dont want some guy pretending he is a kid to get a free bike. I want to see these go to a kid who has no bike at all, hangs out at tracks, skateparks, shops, exc.... I know alot of you are on hard times yourself, and cant afford to give your son or daughter a bike due to the BS economy, so hey send a letter.

So I need advice from all of you to make this happen. It will still be a bit before bikes are given away. I am awaiting loads of parts, and more donations for odds and ends. My goal was 5-6 bikes which i think we should be able to surpass with a lil more help.

So please get this thread a rocking. I am glad I can do this, and would like to do it yearly or just keep it going.. Trust me, there is not a better feeling then making someone else happy if you dont even have alot yourself. Your $5.00 donation, or even a pair of grips make a big difference.

I have met some of the coolest people on this site with some of the biggest hearts, even to personaly help myself. I consider you all my friends and I WANT TO THANK YOU.
