I just got confirmation that my order for the re-issue Tioga Comp III tires are on the way to me!
Tioga said this was a 1-time production run of these.

But the question remains, and I e mailed Tioga about this, are these re-issues the same, larger size as the originals (I'm talking about the 2.125 size specifically) or are they the newer, lame, Cheng Shin sized smaller ones (though still labeled 2.125)?

Happy to see these. However, I'm not on board until the 24 & 26 inch are available.

Here are some photos of the Tioga Comp III re-release tire.

I JUST talked to Tioga USA to get more info on this production run, and about future production runs....
Here's what I found out.....

Tioga only did ONE very limited production run of these tires that were distributed globally. As far as future production runs, they said that they are now planning to do an annual limited re-release of one of their "Legacy tires", which means that next year's re-release could be a Comp III 24", or maybe a Comp II. They don't know yet.

My distributor is "cleaned out", so I'm not able to get any more either....
