All right! 5 years of 100% proper rocking old school BMX in Minnesota!

I would like to thank each and every one of the people that have hung out, rode, partied, toiled, represented and kicked ass with the Faction for the last 5 years. There have been times that I have handed the baton to my able and trusted cronies over the years and I thank them for manning the wheel. I am honored to call all of you my friends. FACTION!!!

Enough of that crap, now onto the good stuff!

BRING YOUR OWN BBQ ITEMS! In past years, the Faction pulled a permit to allow us to BBQ in the park, but this year we ask that everyone bring their own dogs and burgers.- well bring the fire.

This is going to be the most relaxed BBQ yet, expect maximum chill time w/ your bros. More details to follow.

Locale is $et: Skatepark @ 90th and Portland, Bloomington, MN. Same bat channel as the last 5 years. 2006 was the exception.

Bring the family or your kids or whomever. We've always made it a family friendly event, everyone is cool. We're scaling back the awards to save on expenses and the hassle of voting for bikes- bring whatever you like. BBQ grills will be provided. BYOBBQ items.

Looking forward to seeing all the old friends and welcoming even more people into the fold, every year we gain a few more members.

And this year we're on Facebook, so I would expect a few more people other than the Vintage crew. And I have to thank VBMX for all the support over the years. Without VBMX, I would still think I was the only OS'er in Minneapolis. Other than Bill Sympson. LOL.

Drove down to the Ottawa IL event at the last minute and had to represent the Faction down there!!! I plugged the heck out of October 3rd Faction BBQ so heard rumblings of a road trip. The guys and gals were a blast and hopefully more the merrier for our 5th annual event, can't believe it's been that long already.

I'm not going to jinx it, so you can fill in the blank- if it's __________________ the BBQ still will rock on. Come prepared, we'll be there. If it's pouring @ 4pm, we'll hit a local bar for burgers and revelry. If it's not, and we'll rock up to Minnehaha via pedalbike.

Even if Minneapolis is covered in a Nuclear Fallout haze, the BBQ will still be on!!!!
