hey all, i don't come to this section much as i quit racing in '84. but my son came home with a TNT frame over the weekend and we both really like it and have it almost built up. my question is about the serial numbers on it (5512). can you tell me anything about it? the frame is black with white drop shadow tnt on the down tube. thanks in advance.

Anytime you are describing a bike start with the basics. Threaded or threadless. Brake studs or not. Chromoly or aluminum. Stickers unless you are sure they are originals only tell what year the stickers are.

The black with the white drop stickers are mid to later portion of the 90's to my knowledge.

i looked around on bmxmuseum and i'm guessing it's a '95. it has the canti mounts and the cable guide. it's a chrome moly frame and my kid's having a blast riding it.
