I'll be honest and say that the pedals, cranks, red tires, and seat need to go. They are too old for that bike. That being said, I'm about to Frankenstein a rider by mixing eras myself.
Good point,,, But remember, this is the same exact frame and drop outs that were made back in the day... and the frame,forks,and bars were mint when I got them. Believe me, If I could find a 1984 that was in this shape,I would have it.
Also, I've wanted a bike like this forever and finally pulled it off... If I wasn't honest about the year,nobody would ever know it was a 90..
