Hi Everyone:
Recently when I listed an nos set of in the box, MKS grafight pedals for 3 piece cranks, I received a very rude, insulting message from an interested buyer. I wish I had saved the initial message, but I didn't thinking it wouldn't amount to any of this. His initial e-mail was asking if I would sell them to him for $65.00 shipped, and how I will never sell them for this price, that I was out of my mind, etc., etc., and I very kindly replied no, that they were worth quite a bit more then that, and that his offer was actually insulting, especially since I have sold used sets for more then his offer. Below is my second e-mail to this buyer, and his response afterwards. It's not often that someone is so rude and insulting, especially when you try to help them find a part they are looking for. The pedals actually sold the same day that this person was sending me these messages. Thought you guys may want to know who you're dealing with in case you buy/sell to this individual.

Hey there,
Look, there is no reason for you to be rude and tell me i'm out of my f'n mind. It's just uncalled for. I wasn't rude to you. All I said was that your offer was insulting. As far as the pedals, they actually did sell with the buy it now. I completely understand that you can purchase a whole bike for 175, but these pedals are extremely rare to find, especially in black, and for 3 piece cranks at that. I have sold several sets of these at this 175 price, and is why I know they are worth that much. I've been in this hobby since 1985, and I'm fairly certain about the market values of these things.
I just don't think that you have to yell at me telling me I'm out of my mind, and for me to come to my senses. If you're looking for a used set that may be less expensive, or more within your budget, I can pass along your e-mail address to a few of my friends, and see if they may have a used set for the 65 dollar range that you have in mind. Otherwise, I don't think you will find a new old stock set anywhere near that price.
Bottom line is, is that you don't have to be rude, or vulgar. I know sometimes it's called for with some of the a holes that are on here selling their junk, but that's twice that you have insulted me, for something that you obviously do not know the true current market value of.
