Hello, The "Chain Bike Corp." was actually ROSS bicycles of Allentown, Penn. They went bankrupt in 1989 For the last 3 or 4 of that time they couldnt compete with cheap overseas labor and tried to lease a few factories in Taiwan to survive but ended up going under because of poor sales along with with several harsh EPA violations!! A company called Rand Cycle bought the ROSS name out of bankruptcy and hired Sherwood B.Ross as a consultant for 5 years as part of the name deal but "Rand" never sunk money into marketing the ROSS name and although they still own it they havent nor see anytime in the future where they would.... Sooooooo, to make a long story short... Your "so called" very old BMX bike might well be an 80's model but ROSS bikes werent exactly known for anything special.. Also, being that it says Chain Bike Corp. It actually on of the Taiwan made really junky models.. They used Chain Bike Corp. as a alias type name overseas.. Well, glad i could help but sorry it wasnt good news.... Take Care
