An oldschool friend of mine, Michigan BMXer Scott Kleibusch just listed his old quad on Ebay. I remember when he bought that bike back when we were teenagers. Scott used to race all over Michigan in the late 70's and early 80's.

Its a pretty sweet old frameset for any of you collectors, checkout the link below:

Cant believe he is parting with it but he hasnt ridden it in years? I still have my old cruiser from the 80's will never part with it. Have any of you guys ever sold your old ride and then later regretted it? I know I'm a packrat but my bikes are staying home.

That frame and fork is incredible. I would leave as is in survivor condition..maybe just replace the missing headtube decal. There was a time where that frame and fork would have brought alot of money, not so sure in todays current climate.

I'm one of the lucky ones that thought about selling BITD but ended up through luck just hanging on to mine... Couldn't ever sell it.

If had any of my original frame sets, NO FRIGGIN WAY! There is now way (possible one or two only) I would part with my Profab that isn't even my original frame.

would it be a crime if the new buyer separates the frame from the fork?

In my opinion, yes it would be.

Even more of a crime if they separate the two and place them back on ebay.
