Hi to everyone for my first post.

I've had this bike for about 10 years, and hammer it through the rush hour traffic regularly.
I got it in a second hand bike shop call Recycle in Elephant and Castle, London. I had had my mountain bike stolen and in it's place had been left an almost brand new kiddie size bmx (no idea what it was, cheap and nasty though). I took it down to the shop and swapped it with an extra 30 quid for this one.

As far as I know it's a Mongoose, but only because of the one sticker. And I have seen one for auction on an US website and they also called it a Mongoose from the same sticker. Theirs was in exactly the same state as mine.

It's most interesting feature is it's flat oval frame, the tube is 3.5cm deep and 2cm at it's widest. With real tidy fine welds, a good sign of a quality build.

I've got it's original wheels, but they need new cones fitted. Their free Styler 6R's made by Bernardi Mozzi Motor. So a nice wheels, nicer then the cheappo spokes I fitted at some point.

Quality set of Dia Compe brakes with an SR headset. The saddle and the the crank where fitted when I got it, but there not original.

For some reason I have name Mongoose 'Hollywood' in my memory from when I got it, but can't find anything about it on the net so have dismissed that notion.

I've trawled through the BMX museum and can't find it there, but then again there are hundreds and I could have missed it.

Here's some photo's, what do you guys think it is?

(er.. having trouble with photo links, 2 sec)

Yea, looks like a Mongoose from the mid 90's, before they sold to Brunswick they were making generic stuff like this. Could be just about anything from that era for that matter.
