Yeah, That is not a "NEW" concept. We have had our bikes dipped in the money theme for over 2 years. And NO DOUBT SE and other manufacturers have seen them. They are all over the web, in different mags and Blake races in ABA as a NAG and #1 in NBL and is a UCI Junior Mens Elite. He races all over the world and all these guys have seen his bike. Now they are mass producing them and saying they are the ones who came up with this. We didn't come up with it either, however we have been doing all our parts in money for over 2 years and it sucks to not get the recognition that FOXXBMX should be getting....Want to see all the stuff go to the site.. www.foxxbmx.com

Hey, Does Blake ride out at Estrella Mounting BMX track? If so it was only last week I was chatting to him about his "paint" job. Blake explained a little about the dipping process - His bike looks fantastic with the rims and cranks all dipped in money (and skulls).

From the looks of the dropouts, I would have to say the "metal" look is the OM (has "SE" cut out in the dropouts) and the "money" look is the PK (looks aluminum and like the dropouts on my other SE retro PK looptail).

I'd have to agree with you Bob. I was hoping for maybe a floval (I knew it wasn't - not new style drop outs) but it'll be hard to say I "need" another 20" and it get past the fun governor.

An OM would be okay as well.

On that note... why hasn't there been a looptail Floval? I would have been buying them for the last few years.

Actually the more I look at the money picture (I almost put "shot" & boy would that have sounded bad) does it look to anyone else that the bill is distorted possibly due to an "SE" cut out in the drop out which would mean it's an OM ?
I think you're right. There's an SE cutout on that money dropout.

I'm going to say that other than the money bike, They really do look pretty cool. The jump bikes are taking on a '70s future theme (someone's idea of what the future would hold but from a retro perspective- specifically referring to the red white and blue bike).
Most of it is good and fresh. Good job, Todd! I think the metal plate holds the potential to be a future classic.

The 2 tone combos are still there, look at what is believed to be a 29" quad (red / blue) or the GOLD PK. The money bike is SICK! so was the wood OM this year.
SE is being different and pushing the envelope while still is making anodized parts in colors for bikes. I think they are the only one offering this many colors. If this years isn't your thing wait til 2011 or buy 1 of the already done sweet looking SE bikes.
I'm already saving for the OM if it is the money print bike & maybe a gold PK!

Thank you for exposing the buck-naked emperor. I'm all for trying new things, but these gimmick finishes are pretty juvenile, IMO. Appeasing the intended target market, I suppose.

I guess the "new fangled finishes" aren't for everyone so buy the other color option! I heard "That's the way I grew up, that's the way I'm gonna be" in my head but I guess I'm juvenile like that

Hey Todd
Did we get wider Bar Pads? I think you told me that 2010 was supposed to be the year we got wider pads and bars......not wider bars but bars that have a wider cross bar support. Anyway hoping that is still happening.

Yeah, we widened 'em by like almost 2 inches. All good in da hood.
Oh, and we got wider bars (and crossbars) on the 20" AND 24" Retro bikes.

YES!!!!!!! I am ALMOST sold on a retro this year. I wanna see the rest of the line of course. That is a great move on the crossbars and pads......so the handlebar pads are now as wide as they were or close to Bitd?

Is the red Quad cruiser at the front a 26 inch or the "rumored" 29er?
The hoops look a lot smaller than on my own 29er, but it's difficult to judge the scale from the photo.
What about the yellow bike on the right side (6th one back)?
Is that an O.M.?

jumped the gun on calling the metal plate paint scheme a "big ripper" looks like the PK's now ALSO have the SE logo cut out on the back right dropouts. Seeing that Great Pumpkin OM Flyer Colorway really caught my attention, can't wait to see hi-rez pics of all of the new bikes. I have yo wonder if there are still a couple surprises not yet revealed.
All the bikes look great Todd! Kudos all around world on these... I REALLY like the bigger bars that are coming on the
+1 on the 24"26" 29" Bikes handlebars this year... seems like that have a an inch or two more in the rise. Yaaaay!
WE REALLY gotta have access to some 26" QUADS!!!!! I don't want to buy a supercross quad inspired replica or any other knock off for that matter....
Todd, Please!! For the love of all that is SE awesome... Can I just have my 26" Quad already???
Two last questions for Todd,
1. I have been waiting for 26" Landing Gear forks for most of the year.
Looked online and the well is dry, and have an outstanding order at my local SE dealer for months now... I can't complete my un-suspension corrected 05' OM without'em!! What gives??
2. I want a couple (1 black + 1 chrome) sets of the new Cruiser bars as seen on the 2010 OM's Flyers, and 24" Quad in your newest pics... How soon, and thru what channel can I get these????
Thanks!!
