Quad freestyler: Not a lot of support at the bottom end (the stressed end) of the headtube.
Yeah, I know: "fork crown/ downtube clearance". But still...

We ain't skeeeeeeered to rock some new designs & colors. But take note that there are TWO colors of the PK Loop and TWO colors of the OM Flyer to choose from.
Oh, and you want 2-color combos & anodized parts? Peep below....
I love that color scheme on the Big Ripper. Guess I'll be putting some dough aside. Not too crazy about the ultra modern paint on the retro bikes. Actually love the outside the box thinking but feel a little disconnect. I enjoy the money paint job but also wouldn't dig it on a retro bike. Dig the candy blue Floval Flyer. PK Ripper fixed gear...you've lost me there completely. I think a shark has been jumped personally but I do embrace the fun explorative direction SE has taken.

Todd, I love what you've done for the line since you joined SE...great work.
BUT.....(IN MY OPINION!!)
In that pic above of what appears to be a FS Quad, the 'standing gear' forks are bad. They look unfinished on the edges (I assume that because they are protos, and not finished product), and if you want this bike to actually be ridden, they are useless platforms for todays riders...
Again, just my opinion...
Alos my opinon, I really dig the mint colored version...almost looks like a Binachi Celeste color...very nice...

Are the components spec'd on completes going to be any higher end this year?
I dig the retro thing and all, but the components on these bikes have been low budget for the price point. I have two OMs (08 and 09) and they are spec'd with just junk parts for $700+.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion obviously, but I was very impressed with the quality of the 09 Team Blue OM I had - super tight, no noise from the cranks, wheels, nada and I rode it on the track / street and put considerable miles on it and made no mods to it whatsoever - I weigh 200lbs as well. I do have a high end bike to compare it to, a S&M 38 Special 24" and I must say considering the OM cost 1/3 of what my S&M ended up costing the SE was a great value for a new, complete 26" ride.
I bought a 29" Ripper as well. -Only thing I did not like on the Big Ripper was I (and alot of other folks had the same prob) had to get a stem lock for the HS to stay tight -other than that no probs and love the bike.

I was just completely unimpressed with the parts.
Eventhough new school, quality wise the parts spec'd on my '09 Flite and my '08 Intense Podium 24s blow both of my SE bikes away. I actually paid $200 less for them than for either of my SEs.

For someone like me (into BMX BITD then 18 years on mountain bikes) a 26" just feels right and it is blast at the track. I am most comfortable on a 26" but I am statring to get more comfortable on my 20" (until it leaves the ground that is and then I get all bent outta shape.

Todd - what is the widest tire that can be used on the 2010 26" Quadangle without rubbing? I ask because I on my 2007 20" quad I have only a few mm between the frame and the tires when I run a 1.95 tire. With the slight buckle and the added flex of my tuff wheels I am stuck using a 1.75mm tire.
