nice bikes-love the tri bike as well. You must be single....most wives don't like bikes or car models in the living room

no i do not have a wife or kids, also i live in an apmt. so their is not much room to store all my bikes. my living room is for all my bikes, and my bedroom is for my 360/ps3 and my highdef entertainment and of course my kingsize bed, that i sleep to much on. i will post more photos of my hutch pedals and my new carbon brakes next week sometime, they will be going on my 09 24inch quadangle.

Nice bikes there, I've seen that you have been trying to sell them on SF Craigslist for awhile now are they still all for sale?

i had two of each quads, so yes i sold both quads. but i still kept my other set of quads. so actually from the start i had two red 09 20inch quads and two 24inch 09 quads, but i got two for almost free. i am keeping my other set, hope this makes sense.

oddly the only one that causes even a flicker of my interest is the red monocoque,
the rest just look like out-of-the-box bikes, sorry,
build something original yourself, you'll enjoy it way more and gain more respect for it,
nice duds though!

Who are you to say that he will enjoy something else more? If he is enjoying what he has, that is all that matters!

hey sportsmetal, sorry i dont meet up to your standards. i just have to say i enjoy riding all my bikes, and the tri-bike might not be orig. but it is more than some peoples cars and saves me alot of gas and insurance and is fast as hell. i feel like some bikes look good out of the box, the only thing i usually change is the pedals and brakes, some bikes like the s-works 24inch hemi pro specialized i go all out, it depends on the bike. the quads i leave alone accept for the pedals, i live here in san francisco, ca and we have tons of cyclists, from bmx to road and mountain, and when i take my out of the box quads on a cruise, i get alot of looks, and so far in two years riding retros even at the dirt track near where i live, i have not seen another one yet, i have seen the cheap retros without the looptails cruising around all day but not the looptails. I guess my point is i feel like i am doing allright for being out of work for nearly 10years, i am now 37 and at least i have some nice rides, some people dont have anything let alone food to eat on the table, i feel blessed, thats all.
p.s. to each his own.

sorry about that, i accidently removed the checked photos in my imagedeposit, i will put new ones up around friday of so of this week, after i get my hutch pedals and my new carbon brakes for my 09 24inch quad. I also want to get the hutch cranks, but 500 plus shipping is alot of dough in todays economy!!

Hey checkered, just a heads-up. Build your bikes exactly as YOU want them, or leave them stock, whichever you prefer. You see, in this world you just can't win. I had a rough looking Skyway T/A that needed fresh powder so I did something alittle different. I powdered it metallic silver. Once I built it up I posted pictures and what did I get? Criticism. I heard a few cool comments but mostly IM's about how T/A's are supposed to be white or chrome. I even got a couple "how could you do that to such a great classic?". Moral of this story is either way, you'll get positive and negative comments because everyone has an opinion.
Cool bikes.
