Good stuff! I glad to see you're expanding.
brklynfbm
At last I can put my Bullseye cranks on my Kappa! wink.gif
buzooti
Beautiful components. I almost feel that I'd wear only socks with the pedals for fear I'd scuff them.
superjeer
are the pedal bodies concave or flat? They almost look flat. I think a reason my current platforms work so well is the concave in the ball foot area.
cornfed
Oooh I like that stuff. I like pedals w/o parallelagram shape. The pins are excessive, but extras can be removed.

Prices? Do you have an EP program?

Yeah we put 22 pins in per side so you can remove them as needed. We had some DJ guys testing them before we released them and they liked less the Racers that demo'd them liked more traction. When you ride/race with full pinage your feet stick like clipless! They are some grippy mothers.

cool picture of some 2nd gen cranks!

These are Flat But the pins hook up real well and they grip like mad.. You also can put shorter pins in the inner pedal and keep the taller ones on the outer and it has the same effect as a concave pedal.

A sweet photo of a quadzilla Bullseye Equipped (Pedal/Stem/Hubs/Cranks)sent to me by a customer, though it was cool. Just had a lesson on how to load in pictures properly-as you can tell!!
Surf911S
Those pedals are SICK SICK SICK !!!!!
brklynfbm
How much will the BB cost and when will they be available? Also, is there anyway I could purchase a 2nd generation spider or powerdisk? Mine is bent and I can't use my cranks.
TRILOGY
what is the weight of the pedals ?
Paul Springer
Amazing, where do we find this stuff for sale? Will the BB work with Profiles?
ColoredTuffs.com
I'll have all Bullseye items available on the PlanetBMX / Coloredtuffs.com site in a few days!
GR8BNDINI

Re-read the title of the thread, "A few of the 7 new products from Bullseye".

The Bullseye stuff is bad azz for sure!
brklynfbm
I hope Steve Jackson reads this......

The Bullseye Euro BB maybe hard to fit without a spacer/washer kit. Particularly the large washer on the drive side. How will the external cup on the bb have enough space without hitting the spider bolts? Also, a correct chainline maybe difficult without the extra washers. worried_anim.gif

Hey big guy! Fret not my friend- Rest assured We would never design + Fabricate a product that would'nt work or allow for clearance and chainline adjustment. A ton of R&D went into the design of these Euro BB's. They may look simple in the completed form but actually a lot of calculating, preparation, design knowledge and on-bike testing went into the development of this BB. The Euro BB's come with 3 sweet billet spacers for proper chain/q-line adjustment. We made them Bullseye Red as if to help distinguish our BB's from other brands. Our Euro BB's come with Enduro full stainless replaceable sealed bearings. This particular BB has Direct Axle/bearing interface with no shims or spacers for guaranteed smooth action. We used kick butt bearings on these. This Euro BB set is a direct USA design, tested and built option for Hollowtech (DXR,SAINT,XT,DX,HONE etc) and X-type cranks. Our Replacement for our own 22.2/7/8" spindled Bullseye cranks is almost complete. I will list pictures next week when they are completed. Thanks for the post we appreciate any and all inquiries to our New product line. biggrin.gif

bmxmom
that's some sexy stuff
chase2wheels
Great looking stuff. Nothing like a little bike porn.
bullseyebmx

some SICK 1st Gen's.

Thanks for the positive response guys/gals. We are thrilled you like the new stuff. More USA designed and Rider tested/built stuff to come!
brklynfbm
I see, but what about the 22.2mm bb's? Will they come with any extra spacers?

Also, it might be a go idea to sell a bolt, washer and spacer kit to overhaul the old 1st and 2nd generation cranks.

Sorry for my ignorance but does this statement mean YES it will work with Profiles?
Gary Mason WWR

Steve, your products are absolutely beautiful! As cash flow permits, I will be decking out my various rides with your stuff. First up will be some of those killer platform pedals for my MTB. I like the fact that you can customized the pin placement on them, great idea!

I like the platform pedals and was thinking of putting them on my s&m 38 spec. cruiser. Would this work aesthetically or are they better suited for a retro bike?

Our Bullseye American BB is $39.95 and our New Euro BB is now a production item full on and is now $89.95. It is CNC'd from Alcoa 6061T6 stock and has one of the best Enduro Bearings they offer. Made in the Good ol' USA By Bullseye. dry.gif
We are making a New Pro stem without a rider weight limit. Its prototyped now and is being tested all weekend at the Chandler BMX park. We are going to hammer it hard. It has already been Independently tested and exceeds our expectations and the load it can withstand. It will most likely be running in production late next week. Sneak pix coming soon after we torture test the Proto's we have on our test bikes. laugh.gif

The Elite's were designed for the New ERA racing series. They would be a perfect fit for the 38 Special. they are strong and smooth. They look good on retros and New school rides. Thats exactly what we were after when we designed them. A pedal that can cross over Retro and New school. We have sold a bunch to down hill MTB'ers as of late and the response has been all positive.
sack
Hey Steve, any headset or brake pics?
race_inc
So Steve, what size/sizes do you offer your stems in?

Hey Gang,

Just wanted to ring in here with a little explanation of why stuff sometimes suddenly goes missing from this thread (and the other thread got locked down).

Our Terms Of Service (the VBMX "Rules of the Road") state:

VintageBMX.com is an advertising-supported community. As such, it is important for commercial interests to respect our paying advertisers by either purchasing an ad of their own, or seeking other outlets on which to promote their products. If you are interested in advertising, our ad information can be found here.

A button ad on the right can run a little as $50 per month (for a three month trial, under our new advertiser special). For access to an audience of our size (43,772 Absolute Unique Visitors in July, viewing 1,228,938 pages), that is not out of reach—even for a new company–-to afford, especially when it is obvious there are lots and lots of fans here, eager to buy the stuff. It's $1.66 per day. Pretty much anyone can afford that...so the only other reason could be a "why buy the cow when the milk's free" scenario. And that's where we run afoul of the spirit the rules above. This site is free to members because advertisers pay the freight. Site Supporter donations are, of course, greatly appreciated...but not wholly expected.

The purpose of this site is, obviously, to disseminate information. So I do not have any problem with a company showing off their product. But, such posts cannot contain "offers for sale." That means no links to company websites, "order hotline" phone numbers or other "here's how to get one" type language (posted by the company, OR by members). In this case, Urban Ride Shop carries the Bullseye product, and they are an advertiser...so I would encourage you to definitely buy from them.

The other issue is the posting of images that are too large for our layout. Images on VBMX should be no wider than 600px. Posting images that are 1024x768 gums up the works, and requires needless load time for our users (some of whom are still on dial-up, BION). Photobucket offers perfectly good tools to downsize images, as needed. I happen to like Flickr, because you can post the smaller image, but link to a larger version...as Flickr generates multiple sizes for you automatically (Flickr is free for a limited account, or $24.95 per YEAR for a pro account). When I see images that are too wide for the layout they will be deleted. If it persists, the thread will be locked down.

All of the above applies to all threads, not just this one, BTW. But with so many threads to administer, I have a certain "beat" that I patrol. Our members are also very good about bird-dogging stuff in the far-flung reaches, so thanks for that.

I hope this helps clarify the "why" behind certain administrative actions taken recently.

Edit: I don't want Steve, or any of you to think I am "picking" on Bullseye here. It is not my intent to do so. Those products are off-the-hook cool, and they deserve to be up here. But I have to look after the interests of the folks keeping the lights on around here...I'm sure Steve, as a businessman, can understand that, and I hope the members can as well.

Best,

M
