I'm looking at getting my little guy (5 1/2yr old) a new bike. I'm considering the DK General Lee or the SE Lil Ripper. Is one better than the other in quality or for a kid of that size? Is the Lil Ripper even a kids bike? Oh yeah I can get the Lil Ripper for $160 still new in the bike shop from 2008. The DK is about $170.

i'd say the general lee myself, so i'm guessing the right answer is the 'lil ripper
What kind of riding is your little guy into? The General Lee is a bulletproof(at least for that age rider) jumping bike. It is heavy as hell as well.
