I was thinking about getting some shimano dxr brakes, but they are alot more than my stock tektros, just curious if they are worth it, or should i just keep my stock teks. on? thanks.

if the tektros work then I can't see changing em. My current ride requires either 901's or a odessey A brakes. But to be honest the 901's are doing the job.

The DXRs are awesome, and outperform the Tektros.
BUT, if you are not unhappy with the Tektros, then there are probably other areas on the bike you could spend the coin.
All but one of my V brake equipped bikes run Tektros, and I am perfectly happy with the performance. Course I am also comparing them to old school calipers, and the worst V brake made is infinitely better in performance than the best caliper from the old days.
