Anyone know the type of integrated (not internal) headset required by the '06/'07 Wildman Pro Dirt frames -- Campy spec. (45/45 bearings) or Cane Creek spec. (36/45 bearings)? I'm building one of the signature series bikes (the type w/out the gyro mount on the headset).

Look forward to hearing from you.

Cap'n Nemo, are you out there???

I hope this helps...According to the SE catalogs, the '06/'07 Wildman Pro complete's came with an FSA sealed hiddenset.

It doesn't give any more spec than that.

Maybe Todd or Brett can chime in with more info.

campy spec.

I had figured it out on my own by roughly made paper jig. SE and my LBSs did not have a clue. I even called bike shops (SE distributors) in California. I hung up on a guy as I was tired of explaining that integrated headsets don't use press-in cups. SE's specs. can be a little off/unclear as to how they label their headsets.

I thought I'd be able to swap my '04 Quad parts to the WP. It was good thinking. Looks like I will need rear a
axle spacers, bottom bracket spacers (the BB core is usable), a U-brake, seat clamp and post, front chainring (need something WAAAAYY smaller to have a usable chainline.

Uggggh...
