That cracks me up. Nothing wrong with being unrelenting and meticulous. There are times when those traits can totally pay off, like when playing Jenga, for example.
Brandon, I'd say give it some time to grow on you. I'm a total monochromaniac (other two bikes have zero color on them), but I'm digging the black gold you have rolling. And Rob's stickers will totally bring it all together, not unlike the Dude's rug, I should expect.
Rob's sending me the same stickers btw, perhaps our rides will look like doppelgangers.

I like to think of myself as anal and obsessive, but thanks for putting it in a nicer way Larry.

Brad, whatever you do... do not try to match a gold rennen chainring with anything gold. I have a few of them sitting here and they don't match a thing. I wish other companies made that stealth gold that rennen does because they chainrings look flat out sweet. Tangent appears to have a brighter gold now though. I might give them a shot. Then again maybe not as I already have a stockpile of chainrings sitting here.

wow, nice b
i don't know if its just cause i'm looking at pics, but in the photo's they don't look as blingy as they did in person
and i'd hate to be the first guy who scratches the sticker on the downtube, or fork leg
i can see the look on your face now, hehehe, and the words to follow shortly there after
looks good though, great actually
it also looks pretty wet up at your place still, the suns out down here and all dry after last nights rain
so when you taking it to races... any ideas?

Mar 10 2010, 10:20 AM
Not sure when I will be racing again. I'd love to hit that triple pointer at elkhorn. Gotta see if I can make it.
and yes, scratching my new ride will be a death wish for sure. I can throw a helmet.. really, really hard.

I said it before... my bike is a Johnsonbmx.com billboard. Now if only there were a way to get something cool made out of that gold to put on the rims. Maybe the Standard script super small to fit between the side wall and the spokes or something. Now that would look sick.

Mar 10 2010, 01:34 PM
You'd have to tell me the spoke to spoke distance on the inside curve....and the flat area width of the from side to side.... What I would probably do and I may for my ride is make small Profile Flying "P" and Small Standard Cobra "S" Circles to go between the nipples.....

but my only debacle is the use of an iron, or lack there-of
it was patented/invented in 1882 by Henry W. Seely and are widely available currently in the $10 range
i may have an extra one actually, shall i send it to davenport?
kidding
frames are looking great
My bad I didnt have time to Iron the sheet it was new out of the package that explains the whiteness of it ha. Sorry I am still a tad bit loopy after having my surgery yesterday. I hope you guys enjoy the photos more to come as the boss beckons for more photos.

Havent been paying my bikes much attention lately, had to take a break, but I feel the break is coming to an end.

Still a sweet ride you got cooking there! I was just curious about the bars as I am in the process of putting together a 95 Pro Line f&f I took from my lil bro. I'm sure it will in no way look half as good as your 125! Definitely one of the most unique looking bikes I've seen yet! Excellent Build!

I knew that black and gold was going to be off the hook as soon as I saw that decal sheet a while back. It just can`t get much better than that, I could hang that thing on the wall and stare at it forever. I`m going to go ahead and say it in front of God and everyone on this site.... that is the best looking BMX bike I`ve ever seen.

I want one just gotta wait and see if Nick is going to redo the bike we have here for me of if he is going to keep it for himself I want one that has stars and skulls and cross bones with little bows on top of the skulls. However i thought hello kitty would be pretty intimidating. I would love something in Pink black and white lets see what you can come up with. I wanted to talk to you about a sticker to... like hello kitty holding the standard S logo? possibility?
