Ive been feeling a little off lately. Like some one is out to get me, lurking behind me... just being creepy. So I thought I would post the names of my favorite metal songs. Does any of this sound familiar to you, creepy person watching me? Ive got problems...

My favorite Metal songs

1. Paranoid - Black Sabbath
2. Frayed Ends of Sanity - Metallica
3. Sanitarium - Metallica
4. Stone Cold Crazy - Queen
5. Master of Insanity - Black Sabbath
6. Criminally Insane - Slayer

Thanks for letting me vent a little, maybe you all could reply and add your own songs along this same theme?

Thanks.

Sean

HERE YOU GO SEAN

I'm just an average man with an average life
I work from 9 to 5, hey hell, I pay the price
All I want is to be left alone, in my average home
But why do I always feel
Like I'm in the Twilight Zone? and...

I always feel like somebody's watching me
And I have no privacy, whoa-oa-oa
I always feel like somebody's watching me
Tell me, is it just a dream

When I come home at night
I bang the door real tight
People call me on the phone I'm trying to avoid
Or can the people on TV see me, or am I just paranoid?
When I'm in the shower, I'm afraid to wash my hair
Cause I might open my eyes and find someone standing there!
People say I'm crazy, just a little touch
But maybe showers remind me of "Psycho" too much
That's why...

I always feel like somebody's watching me
And I have no privacy, whoa-oa-oa
I always feel like somebody's watching me
Who's playing tricks on me?

Who's watching me
I don't know anymore!
Are the neighbours watching me?
Who's watching
Well is the mailman watching me?
Tell me who's watching
And I don't feel safe anymore, oh what a mess
I wonder who's watching me now
Who?
The IRS?!

I always feel like somebody's watching me
And I have no privacy, whoa-oa-oa
I always feel like somebody's watching me
Tell me is it just a dream

I always feel like somebody's watching me
And I have no privacy, whoa-oa-oa
I always feel like somebody's watching me
Who's playing tricks on me?

Who's watching me?

I always feel like somebody's watching me
Oooh, whoa-oa-oa
I always feel like somebody's watching me
Tell me, can it be?

Who's watching me?

I always feel like somebody's watching me
Whoa-oa-oa
I always feel like somebody's watching me
Who's playing tricks on me?

Who's watching me?

I always feel like somebody's watching me
Can I have my privacy
I always feel like somebody's watching me
Who's playing tricks on me?

CUSTOM 26'' FORKS FOR THE CUSTOM 26'' BUILD WE HAVE BEEN DOING

CUSTOM CNC DROPOUTS. SOON TO BE A SPECIAL ORDER (COST EXTRA) ITEM

nvmyslowride
Damn those crazy engraved droputs are just killer!!! my buddy did a SBC sproket and engraved this little boys name on it also. it was pretty rad since it was black anodized and the name in Raw alum color!!!
dan restro
i love love them custom dropouts, the standard with the skull made me smile
i should have been on it quicker
nvmyslowride
The first 125R LOOPTAIL PROTO is now being built for a possible customer. pics to come soon!! keep checking back in!
nvmyslowride
For the people who do not know, we also do bike restorations, fix broken tubes, droputs, exc. Add 990 or brake mounts. We also Can strip and repowder it to like near new condition. Prices are VERY RESEASONABLE! Get that old frame out and referb it!!
trickstar
Times are tough, Standard seems to be hurting for business?
nvmyslowride
Why do you say that? they can not seem to keep up on orders on there normal production stuff. Last time I was there they had like over 100 sets of bars being made, forks all over the place and racks full of frames for powder, and waiting on more materials for other orders.

Standard has always done other stuff, but now most people are just now seeing it. We have always had request to do other items, and now everyone knows what we do and people are seeing it, we just keep growing. these days and times, people want vintage items they cant get, so we are doing what we can to help them out. People are now coming out of the box asking for crazy stuff and we seem to be the only place doing it right now. and the custom stuff is fun to build and keeps the employees pumped!!

So as for SBC stands we are still growing bigger then ever!! So you can just say we are expanding our business and offering it to you. I saw where someone charges $200+ to strip and powder a frame. if we can do it cheaper, why not?
dan restro
as nick said, sbc are just offering another dimension to the company.
the restro work they did on my shorty was bang the bugger on and im a restorer myself.
not many companies offer this service.

if you have a well used dented, damaged ride chipped to hell, opened dropouts or just a tired frame
send it in to get it redressed refreshed and feel the love again at a good price, you never need another frame again...

Tell me this: What other manufacturer is giving people an inside view like this? Talk about your public relations!

Virtually everything I have seen has impressed me and Rick was easily one of the best all around riders in the world. The stuff he could do on a bike simply blew my mind, so you guys have street cred, too.

People get into a groove. BMX is about personal expression and most of the time, people figure out what they like best and tend to stick to that. Whether it's genre, style or brand of bike, people usually have some reason for getting on someone's particular "wagon" and riding.

This new effort being put forth by Standard and nvmyslowride as well as all the glistening commentary being heard from the die hard Standard fans, is certainly making it easy to see how you guys have won so many hearts and minds.

I'm seeing true thought going into the most minimal of detail like the slight arch "fishscale" shape) of the race drop out (- you guys were looking at the little "S" bubbles).

All in all, my interest has been captured and that doesn't happen a whole lot.

Great work guys.

what size seat post and clamp for the 125R I ordered yesterday?
superjeer
Unless it's special 27.0mm post and .. ? I got the profile slim jim clamp, I'm not sure if it's 28.6mm or 31.8 .. I think it must be the larger, since S&M says their 28.6mm clamp is for 25.4 posts....

Email you real quick with your answer!!

SACK,

27.0mm seatpost ONLY! No shims or other sizes allowed. Seat clamp is normal, 28.6mm. Try to get one that does not have the lip inside of it.

Cant wait to see your new hotrods finished!!!
nvmyslowride
Later This week I am going to sit down with Rick and will make a price list and post for Referbs, stripping and repowder coating, adding 990 mounts and so on, so you guys have a feel for a good price. that way you only have to send your frame to 1 place only and have it done right the first time!!

Just wanted to mention how great Nick and Standard Byke Co. has been to work with !!! If anyone is considering having some custom work done Standard Bykes is the place to do it !!! I hand picked the pale yellow off of Tiger Powder Coatings website and puchased 4lbs. for $30 shipped to SBC !!! SBC did not charge any extra for having coater do just one frame this color. That's what I call specialized customer service !!!! Thanks again to SBC and Nick for making this project happen.

I will be the next in line to have some custom work done by the Captain of the Standard army. I don't think that what I'm having done is as custom as what cruiserboy and sack are having done. I will say that when I threw my idea to Nick he was all over it, even got Rick involved abit with a couple of rough idea type pics. Just another reason to be a trooper in the SBC brigade. I don't want to let the cat out of the bag just yet. I'm going to wait until the work has begun to show everyone. smile.gif
