She runs triathalons, so I'm sure she won't be as bad as I'm thinking she'll be though.

i say since b's mom is going to race it, its an automatic give away to them, just for the mere fact that it gets someone else new on the gate, and also it will gaurantee brandon being at the track every week
if one of us racers gets it, it just means that one more standard is sitting pretty in one of our houses

Rick and the crew gave up nice products for this to be raced as well as other donators. Ron Anderson took the time to do the build and tweek it out. Id say, if it goes Just to a stable to be looked at, here is your chance to shine at your track and pay it forward to someone who will race it and cant afford to get into racing! That seals the deal then Nick. Pick ME! I don't own a Standard YET! I live in SBC Country Suburbs, LOL! And I can pick up the bike, no shipping required! I will also have it at the track 3-4 days a week, even if I'm on my 20 that day someone else could ride it. I would have a Standard to chase Mike around on in cruiser class, LOL, at least for the first straight. Then he's sooo far ahead of me I can't see him, LOL! Heck I can even pick it up today after 4pm. Just remember I ate cup 'o noodles for 2 weeks to buy those raffle tickets.

STOKED indeed!!!! This is just what the dr. ordered. It's been such a crap awful week this week. The pain from this Monday's shoulder surgery and the Oxycodone haze that followed have made me for the first time question my sanity in doing what I love (racing/snowboarding) when those things can cause so much pain and suffering. But Nick's phone call today with great news and the kind words and encouragement all of you have lent me day in and day out remind of exactly why I love this stuff...all of the great people who join me in this crazy obsession. Thanks to you guys!

And thanks Nick/Jess/Rick for picking my name for this terrific build. Believe me, it has found a very happy and grateful home.
