Ok guys, a while back, I bought on Ebay, a Red Chainwheel. As Im assembling the bike, I notice that the stamped or forged part that says SUGINO JAPAN (emblem) BMX 40, seems to be on the wrong side. Its on the inside where the "nut portion" of the chainwheel bolt goes. On all my other SUGINO Chainwheels, the writing is on the outside so you can read it as you walk by the bike.
So my question is, is this a FAKE or did it get placed on the wrong side before machining? Has anyone seen this before??

Who did you get it off on Ebay?

I cant imagine someone doing the dodge on a chainring but stranger things have happened!!

You get a few Asia based peeps selling dodgey stuff on Ebay..................................................................apparently
