Diary of a Cliffhanger

Jeff was asking me once about how much a practice. Its about 2 hours each day I can ride. I am having a blast riding and loving every minute of it. Crackpackers are still KIlling me but this cliffhanger is moving along pretty well.

Keep on Riding!!

Mark,

That is insane. You amaze the heck out of me. I am lucky to find an hour once a month to ride anymore.

Can you still do a decade? I remember when THAT was the big challenge. How far you've come my brother.

I have not done a decade in some time due to lack of brakes. I have the back again but they need to be adjusted before I try and jump over. Last time I tried the brakes slipped an I fell on my back..OUCH! When I get my brakes dialed in and stopping I am sure I can still do one.

I ride while my wife is at work. I will get ouside about 6 or 7 and make dinner between breaks or we will each out. I have had a pretty good run this week. This is not always the trend but I was able to ride everyday last week...Pretty cool!!

That's awesome and an inspiration to a novice like me. Assuming you're a father by your screen name, I'm surprised you get that much time to practice. Must be a cool family! With my wife and kids, I'm lucky to get 20-30 minutes to practice in the evenings. Good luck on your progression and feel free to make more video like that!

Yes My son did some of the recording for this Diary. My wife will tell me stuff like..Don't you have a contest to get ready for?!?! You better get outside and start riding! I have always had a bike since we have been together but since I starte back up in 2003 I have had a tremendous amount of progression and my wife knows how happy I am when I am riding my bike. I become grumpy and Lathargic when I am not riding.

I have many of my first on film if you would like to see...

My first Decaded
My First Hang 5
My First Hitchhiker
My First Backwards Halfhiker

I never made a big deal out of my steamrollers or Karl's but they took a long time to learn as well.

Keep on Riding!!
