Had a great weekend. Got to see two of my all time favorite riders and got pretty lucky Saturday night.
Click to view attachmentRon Wilkerson was basically my all time favorite freestyle rider and to meet him again after all these years was RAD! Ron's assortment of stuff from his riding days was unreal. To be able to share that on such a personal level with him was way over the top.

Stu. The legend.
Got to pick up the auction bike from him Sunday. I can't say enough about this man. It was an honor to meet and talk with him and I'm stoked about having this bike. My daughter Heather already looks like a pro just from absorbing the radness from this bike. I slept with it Sunday night.
Click to view attachmentForgot to mention, Stu won first place and asked me if I would mind taking the trophy he won to go with the bike. Thanks a ton for that nice bonus Mr. Stu!

I did not mean to discount the Friday morning breakfast with Owen Sheppman from zeronine. He was a really cool guy also and his presentation was great. It was awesome to hear the story of his business first hand. I grew up 10 minutes from Owen's house and didn't even know it. My buddy bought a bike in the late 80's from Owen and we drove over to his house, bought the bike, saw a wherehouse full of bikes and zeronine stuff, picked up some swag and didn't even know who we were dealing with. All these years I wondered about that and my suspicions were confirmed. It was a great weekend.

He gave you the trophy to go with the bike? How freakin' cool is that? We al know the last thing Stu needs is anothr trophy but to think about how happy that would make another person and then to offer it up...what a class guy!!
