Got a free agent f&f recently and have no clue what model or year it is. It has cantilevers on it so it came after my time. It has a cable guide on the forks so I assume its a freestyle f&f.

heres pics:

Serial starts with U90 so i was thinking it was a 1990 model.
Not sure what the U would be tho. Not that many months in a year

disregard my cluttered work bench. it looks better than the rest of the garage tongue.gif

taiwanese, midschool race frame.

race frame? with a cable guide for potts modded front brake built into the fork?

hmm thought that was a dead give away for a freestyler.

Nah it's a racer with a freestyle fork put on it. those brake mounts are probably for v brakes.

Yep, doesn't look like that is the stock fork for that frame. They really didn't have chrome forks with a painted frame in the 90's.

now that you mention it, not many freestyle bikes have v brakes. I never realized that till now. Vbrakes came after my time and I was more into racing than freestyle, so forgive my ignorance smile.gif

thanks for your replies.
