sorry about no pit class guys there is not enough interest yet again this year if i get 5 pit bike class entries i will make a class for 1st place only. thanks al anything is appreciated.
Some know i was not at rockford this year I spent the weekend with my father at the family cabin. But i had flashes of chrome glisening in the sunshine, brett with his concotion drinks that keep you very hydrated, the sound of a early morning practice gate. Oh and ed ferri aight enough of that if you have any questions ask away. If you plan on donating early pm me with details. Come one and all we have hotel accomidations here in Ottawa and you will not leave without having a good time, WILLINOIS promises atleast two blockade bunnyhops

Double checking on the classification of 24's actually means 24 and 26 Cruiser bicycles? Not too many 24's in the 70's.
70's 20 inch 1st-2nd place
70's 24 inch 1st-2nd place
80's 20 inch 1st-2nd place
80's 24 inch 1st-2nd place
90's 20 inch 1st-2nd place
90's 24 inch 1st-2nd place
Have a GT pit. Maybe others could state if they will bring one?
Cheers

yes yes brett is going for the over acheiver award this year. the past 3 years i still have the cruiser trophies for the 70's class so that narrows down to almost nobody except moosegoose nick brings 70's cruisers and he doesnt have the cooks anymore so again a area where there is not many entries. good time good time this year. Craig i will throw it by the wife but i dont think it will be a problem i mean BLS is BLS

If I list it as a 99 hopefully no one tries to stab me!

I plan on bringing three bikes to make the mid class a little heavier this year...I have a ton of projects so over the next few years it should continue to grow...

Jul 19 2009, 04:47 PM
Hey James, I have a question. Have you been to the show site recently? Well the whole area is torn up, they are putting in playground equipment just on the west side of the street that we have the gathering. Also the road that we set up on is completely torn up and covered with gravel. I am sure they will not be finished by the time of the gathering. I was doing some riding today and went by there and saw the mess, looks like we might need to have it in a different spot.

Ya know Chuck, Buffalo Rock is a pretty good idea. It's still right here in Ottawa, has lots of parking and a couple nice shelter areas. Plus the clay hills to do a little tooling around on. Whaddaya think James? Best spot would be to get the west shelter area. It's a little more private and closest to the clay hills.

i am waiting to hear back from the city trust me guys having a spot to host is not a problem. as it looks all they have left to do in our spot is lay blacktop down the curbing is all in the new playground is installed. If for some reason they dont get it done in time i already have another place as a backup. Sorry not totally up to my normal alot going on at the same time.

True, however, I rode by again today and it's the same as it was when I first posted. That area isn't graded yet for blacktop, and our city isn't the most quick and efficient. LOL! No worries James, plenty of places to do this. I do think though that Buffalo Rock is a good alternate.

The wheels of Government turn slowly especially the Ottawa Public Works Department. I'd implament my back up plan as well
If the rain doesn't quit long enough they won't be able to get down the asphault. The moisture content of the the base can only be so high
