Whether rockin the half pipe, or rollin up to that favorite dirt mound, or just rockin & rollin at the truck between motos, what tunes did y'all jam on? I don't know about you guys but we always had LOUD tunes crankin at the jump sites and banged our heads while catching air or changing chainrings...etc..
How many of you guys ROCK? What do ya like?

I used to pull my T tops out of the Cutlass, park it by the abandoned skateboard park and crank the system, with an extra battery on board for the trip home if needed...lol.
Or the hatch open on the Mustang at the rock quarry while we swam and jumped our bikes off the cliffs.
Hell even way back in the day....before we had cars, I carried this bigass jambox out there with us, rode to the site with it hangin by a strap, and jammed that way. Dude I'm talking OLD school! WE were jammin on AC DC, Sabbath, Blackfoot & Led Zep on the 8 track!
Things were a whole lot more cool when we could just pop in a Maiden tape and leave it on auto reverse! Somebody just ride over to the car once in awhile and pop in a new tape. cool.gif

So what did you guys jam on while you were gettin rad? Or what do you listen to now for that matter? Have you mellowed over the years, or do you still like to crank it!

Do they allow youtube links here? Post em if ya got em! Lets rock! Turn your speakers up!

Last i saw Madien was about 4 or 5 years ago with DIO and Motorhead. Great show. Just got the new Heaven and Hell (Sabbath), Dio, Tony, Geezer and Carmen Appice. Good disk. Wife just got the new Mettallica but haven't listened to it yet. Sabbath by far my favorite from BITD to today......

Old school Sabbath is definitely tops. Saw Maiden the first time on the Powerslave tour but didn't get to see Sabbath all together until the mid 90's when they did that tour with Ozzfest. Was great seeing Bill Ward come out for that one. I liked the Dio years just as much really.
Now I hear Ozz is trying to sue Tony for the rights to the name...and the profits they've made playin his stuff. Hate to see that bad blood with those guys like some pissy ass guns and roses crap.

The Trooper is a bad @ss tune.

We jammed to AC-DC, Pink Floyd, The Who, Van Halen, Judas Priest, and of course Iron Maiden.

Does anyone remember Dr. Demento?
