I love the Orange Stadium One Weinert with Tx500 forks. Who does that belong to?

Sorry, I heard someone say who's Weinert that is, but I can't recall at all.
I have a lot more pics uploading, but I have to take a nap and then go to work. I'll try to get the other batch up and running tomorrow morning.

Awesome Pic's guys, keep them coming!
Question: Do any of you know who was filming the vintage area / race in general? I was curious as I saw them spending a bunch of time at various displays, mine included, and I would love to see the footage and hear their commentary.
This was my second trip to the Rock, first time showing and it seemed much more organized and even better attended. Already thinking about 2010!
Thanks in advance.

The Redline is a beautiful bike. Unfortunately it is believed by many that it was mis-classed, it was classed in 80's race bike. Many believed it should have been and was better suited to be in the Custom class. I'm sure it would have won in that class as well. Personally, I saw the Redline and did not even know it was in the 80's class, I assumed it was in the Custom Class.
The 2 next bikes in the 80's class tied for second and those owners and bikes deserve some recognition. Tom Sustarich (KEEPITWARM) with a Hutch TJ replica and James Jennison (JESSIEJAMES) with a GJS Big Tube, tied for second in the 80's race bike class. Congrats to both!!
This is not a rant, or a call to arms against the owner or the event planners. Both put in alot of hard work and deserve to KUDOS! It's just something that happened based on some rules inconsistencies that, I'm sure, will be adjusted next year. There was no formal protest, because the time that formal protest would have to be lodged did not seem appropriate. Fine tuning gentlemen!!

Great pics...I think the frames are two Schwings and a Rumblefish.
Greg_Hanna
Jun 24 2009, 08:52 AM
Yellow one is a 1994 Barrette Bros. 20" Schwing 1 of 15, these were the first retro tribute bikes!
Red is a 26" Schwing 1 of 2. This one was built up to display at Interbike back in 94 or 95. I think they made 4 24" as well.
Orange is a 1992-94 Rumblefish 1 of less than probably 150. These were built by a shop in Ca. The frame design patent belongs to Bill Grove who used it for mountain bikes back in the mid-late 80's thru the mid 90's. Bill licensed the design to the bike shop to build BMX frames.
Thanks for asking about them!! Not too many people know of these.

I recognized the Scwings from the old retro rags I used to read cover to cover till they fell apart, lol. I remember talking to Scott about those frames, I think Schwinn didnt care much for it.
I raced against some 17 experts on Rumblefishes during my short and ill fated 1992 comeback. Big fan of those frames...

the masters trio are actually mine! chip did all the powder work and deserves ALOT of credit! heres the scoop on em...
the 16 was cut from an nos 85 frame and was repowdered green
the 20 was my original frameset from 85 and had chip re powder it
the 24 was made after last years rockford... i had a great idea and waited about a month to go see him and tell him my idea... well i told him i wanted a 24 1985 haro master. he tells me he just did one for dan (dansharos) in white! well i wanted it anyway!
i am actually almost finished with the trio with all matching parts... a few are a lil harder to get than others... but i thought having at least the 3 framesets would be cool...

Not trying to start a fight and I know a while back NOS masters where a lot easier to find with the huge stash found in the UK but.... man how can you cut up a NOS 85 Master like that? I would cry...
