I have red on Vintagemongoose.com's site about serial numbers, etc. But I have a question about where the line is on what is considered old school mongoose?

Specifically, I have purchased 1 1985 Mongoose Export and 1 1986 Mongoose 1986 Mongoose Expert Californian Supergoose Pro Class.

Would these be considered vintage? old school?

To me they would qualify as "vintage" or "old skool". I would consider them second generation Mongeese.

To me, old school or vintage is anything older than 1990. This sites definition states 1986 as the cutoff line, tho.

Some people use 25 years or older as vintage. Quite a few mongoose guys say 1986 as after that was new owner and new designs/style. Mid 80's works for most.
