Best thing to do anyway is PM the guy or gal selling something or reply to the emails they give. Get your questions answered that way instead. I wouldn't want anyone knowing I was wanting to buy something with the fear that someone else might jump on it quicker.

No need to reply in that section. Like was said above, PM or email the seller and complete the deal.

You can only reply in the for sale section if you are a paying site supporter. Just pm the dude.
