I do not remember what year it was that I bought my RL-20-II, but from what I am reading in these forums it can be figured by options and peg placement on forks. I thought it was an 88 based on the color scheme, black frame fading to gray in the back near the rear tire, CD crank w black and white label, the fork is chrome and the peg holes are high (not the usual placement where they are centered with the wheel). it also has RL 48's rims with what appear to be slicks mounted on them, and dia compe front and rear brakes. Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks all!

a grey back end is indeed a 1988 model (also sold thru 1989, til they were gone).
the fork is different than "correct" spec, but there was a fair bit of inconsistency at that time as Redline had just been sold and they were using up old stock. there were also mix-matched framesets with older frames paired to newer forks and vice-versa. i know our shop had a bunch of those.
