I knew I would never throw that out! smile.gif Missing cover but I remember it got pretty beat up and the staples are rusty. But overall it is not in bad shape for being like 22 years old! Anyone else still got this? I always wished it was bigger and more detailed, as when I took it with me it was tough matching it with the video, and some stuff seemed not to match what they were saying. I will have to check again. I hope find at least a few old Freestylin and BMX Plus/Action mags that hopefully did not get thrown out through moving. I still got all the VHS tapes and now the vintage DVD set from eBay. What a great set!

I got a re run copy of them last year from BMX Plus. I think Plus still does them? Not sure. They threw in some cool stickers too.

That's rad dude. I wish I could find my April '86 issue of BMX Plus! "Freestyle Spectacular," which was with me every day in my driveway afterschool for about a year, back then. I loved that issue. I keep hoping someone scans it in. The how-to's are great, and the pics.. amazing.

Yeah I had all of those issues, loved the how-tos. I was always worried about getting grease and dirt on the book, and I took care of well. I remember turning the pages with a stick on the clean part of the concrete lol. I hope I still have some old mags left, I know I threw a huge stack out years ago, but who would have thought I would be back riding 100% at 35? biggrin.gif

Those were not re-prints. They found a big box out in the warehouse from the original printing.

Still working in the GT parts and it is in the shop getting powder coated. It should be really RAD when I am done with it, I am hoping sometime in July. The paint and all the parts alone are going to be about $600 mininum. I always said I wanted a GT and a Haro Master someday, but like I said never would have thought someday would be 20 years later. I am curently riding my Haro Master still. I wanted to get a new school bike for freestylin' but I do not care for the geometry of them, I will always be old- school. http://www.vintagebmx.com/community/index....7031956&hl=

I will be riding the GT primarily when it is done as I always disliked tose frame stands that are built into the Haro frames because they get in the way of the pegs. I may take it apart and store though and start a new project later with a Hutch Windstyler I found in awesome condition. This stuff is even more expensive now then it was back then when I had even less money!

I'd love a copy just for the photos. That takes me back.

My books arrived today! I am so glad I got these new and have an extra one noe for part 1. Can't wait to go through these again along with the DVDs I have. I feel like a kid again in 1987. biggrin.gif Only took like 2 days all the way from CA to PA! I ordered late Friday. Wow!
