Guys,

The next party will be Saturday July 18th at Kore Bikes at 8 pm. Green restaurant asked Ryan (owner of Kore) and I to help promote a great cause. We will be promoting bicycle riding and the protection of the enviroment.

The restaurant is working out the details on a vegan bbq and also some bands. To add to the fun I will of course try to get us some ramps again. Then depedning on how late the party goes I would like to try to head down to Tempe for a late night ride.

I will post more info once the owner of Green finalizes some things on his end.

Just a heads up to everyone. Green has changed plans and decided to throw the BBQ on another day. Since it is already announced we are still doing the party on the 18th with out them.

So the plan is meet at the shop at 8 pm. If everyone is in for it 9 or 10 pm drive down to downtown Tempe and start the ride.

Tell me more about it. I just got back in the BMX scene and would like to check it out. Will be driving up from Tucson. Its always nice to get out of town every once in a while.
nintendoninja

Hifi,

Kore Bikes is a local shop that I teamed up with years ago. It is a super cool place with everything from club chairs to gaming systems. We just go with the flow and let the party take its own course. Turn out ranges from somtimes its lighter other times a ton, with the most being for the 5 yr anniv party with over a hundred people.

There is another person hopefully coming up from Tuscon if she can make it. She is a member on BmxMuseum.

pm me if you have any more questions.

Rich,

I hope you can make it out.

im still waiting on brakes for my 87 gt pft so i dont think i will have it completed for the event...
so now i face the dilemma of deciding which one of my other gt's to bring laugh.gif
Nbl 49a
Ricky,

Do you need to borrow brake(s) for the show? I have an Acs Boa Front and a Pitbull rear you could borrow.

nah its cool, i have 2 sets of diatech hombre fiestas on the way but i guess they are taking too long to get here... that gt will just have to be completed whenever its completed.
i have plenty of other gt's to choose from to bring laugh.gif

So what time is the show? It looks like it is at 8pm, or is that just for the ride?
Nbl 49a

Thanks you everyone who made it out. I will post up some pics when I get a chance.

I see. For some reason, I was expecting the show to start around 6pm or so. My nephew had a swim meet last night so I couldn't go that late. I was looking forward to it too. sad.gif lol. Oh well, by next year I will have my Auburn coated and assembled so I will be able to have my Hawk, Performer, and Auburn there. smile.gif

We had a good turn out despite the crazy weather. The rain never came but the dust sure did!! I didn't go crazy on the pictures but there were some very cool bikes. I was really digging Lance's Skyway Ta/Dirt Bros complete with a Dirt Bros chainwheel. Very cool bike!! I have always had a love for Dirt Bros stuff!!

Big Jim and his Dg and Lance on the right.

My boy Lucas-Aug 09 Bmx Plus cover boy! DB Viper, and Ryan's Challenger

Ahh the sweetness!

Tech Xl Pro cruiser, S&M Menstrual and a second helping of dirt!

Thanks to everyone who came.

Stephen

I am suprised more pictures haven't surfaced. I really didn't shoot any pics at the shop I figured someone else would be doing that.
