Hey guys im new here but have been lurking for awhile. Anyway being an old school BMX guy(hutch) my kid comes home with an old GT. From the best i can tell its mid to late 80's. He got it for 10 bucks. It needs some work but the fram and forks are in pretty good shape. Im trying to figure out what year it is. I dont have any pics right now of it. The only thing i have is the numbers under the sprocket thats stamped in.(VIN?) Anyway they are .....yc9482197. Not sure anyone can help without pics but i figured if anyone would know it would be you guys! This site is awsome ! Takes me back to better days of getting up in the summer and taking off on my Hutch all day! ...thatnks..joe

Probably a 90's foreign made frame. US made frames had the serial number in the rear dropout. Post up some pics!
