I'm trying to replace the decals on my APRIL '83 GT Pro 4.
As the results of the Nora Cup appeared in the March issue of BMX Action (assuming in was actually out in March and not a month earlier like some mags, even today), would it be safe to say that a 1983 Nora cup sticker IS 100% correct for my frame?
Or were GT a bit slow and a couple of months behind, so 1983 Nora Cup stickers only really appeared on frames say in May of that year and therefore a 1982 could be correct?
(On a side note..... a very early 1983 frame can only have a 1982 Nora sticker as they won't of yet known they had won it again for a second year).
THEN, not ALL GT's had them on anyway, even factory bikes. Greg Hill is pictured riding bikes with and without them. I can recall an ad in October '83 Action mag which has him posing on a black chrome bike which doesn't have one. I always thought the black chrome frames had them!
So were they on most, but not all GT's in this period?
And, is it okay NOT to put one on?
