Stu Thomsen
Looking for a Chris Shotwell from Newton N.J He sent me a fan mail letter back in 1983. And I have a Hot Shots picture that he included to be signed. I still have it and need to send it back. I found it back in 2005 then missplaced it till 2009.
Can anyone help?

Stu,
What a great thing to do. These simple gestures you have done for your fans over the years is why your still and will forever be one of the greatest BMXers to grace the track.
I thank you.

How fun would it be to locate this fella and then just send it to him without him knowing its coming. The look on his face when he opened it wolud be priceless.

I remember meeting Stu at the Pontiac Silverdome in 1981. He was signing autographs for some kids who were leaning over the lower level wall - handing their programs down to him.

It came to be my turn, and I was nervously fumbling for words and looking for the page with his picture. He cut me off mid-sentence, took the program out of my hand and said, "It's page twenty-seven." (or whatever page it actually was).

It was funny and I still remember it.

If he mails this to this guy, and it's the wrong Chris,
I bet the guy will open the letter with pic. and say "Stu who?" laugh.gif

Lonewolf

If he's the wrong Chris, I'll bet he opens it up and says: " DANG! Stu Thomsen! The guy in the national TV commercial on the bike with the navigational guidance system doing that kick butt cross up! Too bad I'm the wrong dude!"

I'm sure it's him and I'm sure he would love a call.

Cool stuff, Stu.
