Quad Guy

I have changed some parts on my '04 quad and still want to enhance the ride feel. I have some old school chrome Star Bars, Egg Beater pedals, and chrome Robinson laid back seat post. My current plan is to change to fork with an uncut steer column. I love Landing Gears. My problem is with the pre-cut steer column which limits the adjustable height of the stem. I'm old school and over 6 feet. I noticed that the fork is flared above the fork crown/lower steer tube race. Landing Gear forks that are sold separately do not have this flaring. Is there a special lower bearing race that is needed? Can anyone with the "new" team aluminium frame share pictures of their forks if they are not Landing Gears or the flared "factory" forks? This would be very helpful... Thanks.
