Really? I am not a GT guy like you but if I remember right there were some riders back in the day running something definately bigger than 20x1.75s on GTs. And by riders I mean factory GT guys.

I think 20 x 1.95 is perfect, not too thin not too wide. I love how they look on my Haro and will be getting black for my GT as well as GT whites maybe too.

Man those are in nice shape! I keep hearing about some company that repopped the GT tires. Does anyone know where I can get some? My next door neighbor found I was into vintage bmx stuff and after seeing my passion for it he decided to pull out his neon pink 87 pro performer and started cleaning it up. Seeing him so excited about it is really cool. I helped him with getting his mags back to white And have been encouraging him in anyway I can. He will need a set of white tires soon.
