The time has finally arrived for the ABA to make a statement in the Vegas area with a national caliber track. It's official - Boulder City BMX has switched over to the ABA!!! We now will have two ABA tracks in Vegas to ride. Way to step up to the plate ABA. Shannon.......October in Vegas is a great time for a huge race!!! Thanks to all of the people that helped make this possible-you guys rock!

Glad to hear that. some people were talking about that up here last weekend.
Now if we could get a track in the middle of the state for the STATE RACE, that would be awsome...

P.S. I had to something about the state race Jeff. LOL

You're correct Jeff, October is a great time of year in Vegas! wink.gif cool.gif

We're excited to have Boulder on board the ABA BMX team. I haven't been to that track since like '97 or '98. I'm looking forward to checking that place out again! good2.gif

I knew about this for a while, I am super excited to welcome Boulder to the ABA family of BMX tracks..... I love this place and some of the families I have met from there over the years.... It is looking like the ABA is striking goal in the BMX world, dang whats next Nellis?? I hope they get a big race out there, I just need an excuse to go to the "Best "DAM" BMX track" in the west....

Great job ABA Crew. Glad to see the great facility move over to THE Sanctioning Body of the USA. It's about time. smile.gif

I'm hearing there are some huge tracks in the heart of the NBL that will be changing soon. Looking forward to it.

It will be a GREAT day when buying two liscense per year for two different sanctions will be abolished.

Does anyone have any news on who will be changing sanctions in the NE?

Just curious?

Been working this for a few years and its finally come.

Want to wish Rusty and Georgia McClain on their BMX retirement. They have been a force in BMX for many years and have had one of the top programs in the nation forever.Georgia has been the driving force behind the program while Rusty has always groomed one of the most "BUTTER" smooth tracks anywhere.
Don't know exactly how many years they have dedicated but I know it has to be in the top 10 all time.Their dedication to the sport will be missed and their leaving will put a void in the sport that can never be replaced.

THANKS for everything Rusty and Georgia!!!!!!!

The switch to the ABA was a natural move for the facility since the ABA wave is rolling in the right direction that BMX should be going.
Congratulations to John and Pam, they have some big shoes to fill, but they are up for the challenge!!

Sweet, looks like I need to put Vegas on my flight watch list for next year. Nice to see another premiere track in the fold.

Awesome facility. Hopefully this track will get the recognition it deserves!

Does this mean that Boulder will be racing this friday? 2 ABA tracks in the Vegas area is GREAT. Will Boulder get a state race for the ABA? The NBL (Nellis track) will go down even faster in Vegas now. I will only be paying for a ABA membership now.

Shannon - I hope you guys are going to replace the gate as part of the deal! That gate and hill have always needed some work.

Georgia and Rusty are awesome folks but I suspect they'll a). really be happy to have the reponsibilities off their shoulders and cool.gif. show up and watch the kids.

Be interesting to see if there's anough parking for a National.

Best of luck to the new managers - we'll be supportive as soon as Conman is healed up and can start riding again.

So they are for sure getting a national? coming from conman's dad i would suspect there is some truth to it.

Total speculation on my part based on the logic of it and the revenue potential. I haven't talked to my Chandler homies for quite a while as we are trying out this thing called "life without BMX". smile.gif

The gate and starting hill are just perfest (Mike). The track needs a FEW changes, but it is a WONDERFUL track with a great surruonding, You can't beat the wonderful town of BC with it's memorial to all the lost SOLDIERS from the past. I hope the BMX racing fans and ABA, take full advantage of a WONDERFUL track that they are able to race on.....(NOT GET BURNRED BY THE NBL STATE DIRECTOR). All of the VEGAS racers are wishing the ABA a wonderful racing experience in VEGAS with EFPBMX.com and BOULDERCITYBMX.com. More good times are sure to happen for all the VEGAS crowd now.
