Would also obviously like to thank the huge man beyond all these GHP, never got the chance to ride one BITD (they were pretty scarce here in France -and bloody expensive !). It's truly an awesome ride, the easiest bike I ever got, manuals like a dream !
Thanks Greg Hill cool.gif

Hope you like it, opinions more than welcome !

wow, nice work there man - looks great.
Good chocie of parts and colour combo - SR pedals are a nice touch - Greg used those from time to time.

Interesting that it is a late 85 without the Redline-style head tube gusset.

Be great if you had some GHP forks but the top bends on those SE fork actually look quite 'GHP' so it's not too bad.

Very nice, great job.

Very cool build. Thanks!
Question on the bars. Were they an early design when Andy Patterson rode a (for?) GT or did they come out later when Ellis rode for them?
Lonewolf
I proclaim it as being perfect.

What an awesome save and it obviously fell in to the correct (and very well deserving) hands.

Fabulous save.

very nice i should be building my 84 24" soon hope it looks nice as yours good2.gif

The late 85 bikes had serial numbers starting with "L" - is yours the same?

I recall Greg saying that VDC made all of the GHP frames, and that these late 85 frames were made by VDC after Voris sold the company - the new owners didnt quite have the eye for detail that he did.

Even so, this is a great build, with really nice colour matching. An excellent build. Now all you need to do is find some Star bars, GHP seat post and some GHP forks. Good luck.

That's it Neil, starts with an L, thanks for the bit of history !

Awesome bike!!! That thing looks like it just rolled out the factory!!
Lonewolf
It's what a proper GHP should look like.
omartcruisers
Sharp looking ride. I don't know a whole lot about GHP's but what makes it a "Pro II"? Is it the lack of gussett?
JAY MADDEN
Post on "BMXACTIONONLINE.COM" (Greg Hills site) and he'll get to see it.

RV JAY

Lonewolf
