Anyone stayed at the Baymont Inn & Suites Rockford? Is it a rat infested pit in the middle of the hood? At $64 a night, I might take it anyway - just would like to know in advance.

I recommend the Clocktower, as well...because all of the non-track VBMX events will be there (the Site Supporter Breakfast on Friday Morning, the Chill with Ron Wilkerson event on Friday Evening, and the Saturday Night banquet with Stu Thomsen). And, in the event of rain, the actual SHOW will be a room-to-room crawl, but we'll have a space for those without rooms as well.

The Vintage block of rooms is sold out, but I'm sure they still have rooms available. Use booking code "vintagebmx" and you can still probably get the $109 per night rate.

Well Grizz as the others said use the Clocktower, but if $45.00 a night cheaper is your thing (would be mine also) dont fret my man, its not in a bad area at all, in fact its kinda in a desolate part of town, just to the north of the Clocktower. Hope this helps you some.

We have had STELLAR luck using Priceline in recent months. If you're not going to stay at the HQ hotel, bid $25 for a three star in RFD and see what happens.

LMAO! The year I went to Rockford, 2006, I went at the last minute, rolled into town and stayed the first place that had any vacancy, which was the Motel 6. Nothing but a room. So, I just drove over to place I stayed the year before (no names) walked in with my Vintage shirt on and had me some breakfast with all the other V-BMXers there.

Anyway, still haven't made reservations yet, but I'll be there.

DON'T STAY AT THE TRAVEL LODGE THERE EITHER..........YUCK!!!!!!!!

I asked for the vitage block a few minutes ago and the guy said there was one left so I took it, someone must have canceled or something. Glad I squeaked in, so much easier with the baby and wife in tow. "Honey, me and the fellas are going to a petting zoo called the Tiger Tail, I'll be back later, dont wait up"... lol.

I booked clocktower last night on hotels.com and it was 125 per night, ouch. plus 25 for tax recovery and fees.
