As a kid in the early 80's I read all the mags, action, plus, super, bicycles and dirt etc. I always checked the race results to see how Stu did at the big races. Now as an adult I have been able to read the uploaded mags online. I find my self doing the same thing, reading the race coverage to see how Stu did at a race that happened 30 years ago.

Thanks everyone, nothing to special about the day, work and sleep. I am off the road bike for the next 3 weeks to get ready for Rockford. Nothing like waiting for the last minute to start riding the BMX bike again.

we've been watching Stu tear it up for 37 years and he is still going at it. Now hittin it hard for the Rock. I gotta say ST is one of my favorite rider. Looking forward big time to Rockford gathering and more so the racing.

Happy Birthday STU. I must say you are just as much an inspiration now as in the past. Maybe even more so now, as you defy age and continue to open our eyes to what a racer is capable of. Maybe the next time we meet I will be a little more calm and composed so that I can speak. But I doubt it, cause you are still THE MAN. The 50th state remembers you well.

Happy belated birthday Stu! I'll never forget the pic of you in the March/April '79 issue of BMXA rockin' the pool on a SE stickered Goose. So RAD! I'm 5'5" and I just rode a goose around the track last week, and I can safely say that you are a WAY better athelete than me!
