Just found this web site after looking up the waterford oaks site. I was reading some older posts and i cant get over some of the names I'm seeing. My name is John race & I have a sister, Kristin, that also raced. My parents, Jim & Nancy worked registration and were the track medics @ waterford. We came in our travel trailer every weekend and sat in the infield underneath the annoucers stand. We both rode for colony bike shop for a short while before rideing for Tom McMillen and team "stuff-n-shirts".
It's great to see alot of you are still riding. My son is 11 years old this year and we will be spending time at the track. Hope to see some of you there. Does anyone know what happened to Brian Colgrove or Gary DeBacher? what fun to watch those two duke it out every week. I also know everyone that "motopro" listed in his earlier post. As a matter of fact, we used to bring "motopro" with our family every week to the races. I'm suprised he did'nt metion my name.
I was just on the phone w/ my sister Kristin, reading her some of the older posts. someone wrote in here what a ladies man Bart C. was. Indeed he was. I remember my sister, robyn DJ, Heather McKenzie and the rest of the girls in love w/ him.
I didnt see any mention about Special K, is he still around/ And Greg and tom Mcmillen? Hope to hear from some of you soon. guess I'm gonna have to call my Mom and get some of the old Pics out. Should be fun.........

Hey welcome to the site! There is nothing like the emotions and excitement you feel when you first find this place. I think it happens to everyone. I certainly did. I still get all giddy inside when browsing here. The innerwebz be awesome, dontcha think? Enjoy your stay and be careful of the unnoticeable drooling that will occur from time to time. Again, i think that happens to everyone, also.

Ditto what Madcowboy said! I enhance my internets experience by huffing on old vinyl pads. I highly recommend it.

JRACE - I know that Meat and DeBacker are both on Facebook. DeBacker is married with a child. Meat has 2 children, I believe (not sure about marital status). I think both still ride some today...
