Who: Anyone with a bike and a will to ride

When: Saturday, May 23, 11am, 3104 W Calhoun Blvd, Minneapolis, MN, United States, Earth, Milky
Way Galaxy. Memorial weekend if you don't have your calandar nearby.

Details: Ride around town, stop and have a burger and beers somewhere and try not to get hit by cars. Steef will sign autographs as usual. $5.00 a pic.

Can we drink beer (or box wine. Got a special trailer for that) "WHILE" riding?

Is Steef wearing clothes when he signs his autograph?

This sucks. I'm out for this ride too.

No troubles Scott! We'll have to have a weeknight ride this summer- or the weekly Wed night rides are always fun too.
This will be a nice weekend in the city, we'll have to cruise the lake for sure.

It's looking like we're going to have a nice turnout for the ride, even though we have a ton of people heading out of town. Don't forget your lock, some water and it wouldn't be a bad idea to wear a helmet.

This is what I have in mind:
- Cruise around all of Calhoun
- head downtown on Hennepin Ave
- Hit Grumpies for lunch
- U of M campus
- back to Calhoun


This can always be changed around or whatever. It's going to be great to see everyone after such a crappy winter.

If there are any newbies reading this, make it out to the ride- it's always a blast, especially when there is a pack of BMXers rolling down Hennepin Ave.

You never know when the batteries in the smoke detectors need changing. So far, so good.

The wife and myself are gonna try and make it out.

I'm not familiar with any parking lot on the eastside of Calhoun though? Are you talking about the one near the cemetary?

It's the mortgage company on the north side actually...

Me and my brother should be there. I'll be on a mid-school Robinson SST with blue tires, and he'll be on a black 88 Mongoose Expert with white tires and loud ass blue flite pads. Hopefully some of you guys are out of shape and asthmatic like myself. I'm hoping for a pretty laid back ride.

Thanks to everyone who made it out, we had about 15 of us cruising around. It was a good time, lots of laughs. Hell, we even made it to Hobo Camp! Good to see some new faces, we'll have to get a night time ride going soon. We put on 15+ miles around the city.

Even though I am a little worn out, I still gots a smile on my face. Great times!

- Lake Calhoun
- Greenway to the U
- Grumpys
- Nicolett Mall
- Walker Art Center bridge/ Loring Park
- 394 path to Hobo Camp
- Cruised the lakes back to the cars

Minneapolis has to be one of the most bike friendly cities out there... man, still smiling!

Oh- one more thing. As we were at a light, I said to a guy riding a scooter w/ some DC stickers on it to "Light em up!" the dude pulled up as hard as he could an rode a wheelie through the intersection and continued down Hennipen. Sweet!

Jeff, you are welcome to plan rides! With our new addition, I have been laying low. I am hoping to get the Wed Nite rides going again, that was fun because we were hitting different parts of the city.

I am still stoked from Saturday! I am hoping the rain will hold off tonight so I can take the Burley out with Belle. We still might go out!

Can we make the Wed Nites a little street cruising along with the parking lot tricks? The only drawback would be getting hit by a car in the dark, but we can deal with that. LOL.

Anyone up for this Wednesday, as in tomorrow, as in the 27th? Otherwise let's make a plan for the following Wednesday... I am in Osseo Maple Grove area, can scope out some rides this way, St paul would also work for me, or Lex Diffley trails, never been there yet, maybe there and a parking lot to style in...

I'd probably be down for next week. Tomorrow is a bit soon as I want to have my headset debacle figured out before I go out on the Robinson again.
