This is my latest Mongoose build with absolutely no decals. It's still in the mock up stage...

The logos and decal graphics impressions are brilliant Nickel under a matte black finish.

As Skip Hess first called the Mongoose "Black Bird" before going into full bicycle production, I'm building this unique Goose in the spirit of his prototype.

Thanks guys... Glenn, this will probably be fairly "era correct" with a set of MM 1's and all the basic Ashtabula, Mesinger stuff etc.

I was thinking of doing the MM's in flat matte black also... I'm not quite sure.

Those are some of the best Mongoose welds I have ever seen.

I thought the same thing about the welds...they look like a rope laying there cool.gif

Pete the black MM's would be awesome...I tell ya, gloss black would be a very cool contrast.
