ATT: STANDARD BYKE RIDERS

I am just here wondering what parts you maybe looking for for your STANDARDS. I have had some people ask me about needing different year decal sets, Pad sets,forks, all around spec's, exc.
If there is anything your looking for post it up and I will see if I can help you in anyway. Maybe if there is enough market we can get some off this stuff back out on the market? You never know, just taking ideas in from Riders and passing it forward to the boys at SBC. I will be down at SBC friday so I will spread the word!!!!

I could use a 1995 sta decal set in red, maybe, depending on price

frame stickers are always on my want list
sta tao shaman cashius shorty and lengthy even fork sbc decals
not sure how many you would need to make to get a profit and you would need alot to get a good printing deal
but they always sell well.
6 piece strip bars in a limited run would be cool
the biggest thing i always need i STANDARD HANDGRENADES ..arr the peg that rules all pegs.

I have a 125 with 990 mounts. I'm not sure of the year '95? '97? somewhere in there. I sure would like to have a decal set from that era. Prior to the 125 "R". Just regular 125.

Decals for sure...I have 5 Standards and I need decals for 4 of them...

red stickers for my 95 motocross
fork stickers also

also they had a set of goldish/tannish color that era also
i'd snag those too

would love a pair of those pads they had up until a few years back also

original strip bars w/ 7 3/4" rise as opposed to 8" IN RED, alright i'll settle for black if i have to

anything really that they used to make, it all ruled i thought....

what about barends?? maybe w/ the new logo that is on the 125r rear dropouts

last time I sent pics to someone of my standard the sherrif was knocking on my door. Don't care to do that again

Didnt want whole bike shots, just decals, so many different decals, and trying to locate the right ones for someone could be a nitemare

i also have a 1995 Motocross with matching forks and '95 standard two-piece bars that all need decals...everything is chrome.
another thing that would rule is one of these early 1 1/8" standard stems! PLEASE!!



here is my '95 standard with what i believe is 97-ish decals...?
i just discovered yesterday that this is a 21.25 toptube frame!
.never thought of actually measuring it before...i always thought it was just a 21"TT!

i believe the 990 125's were '97-'98.
99 was the start of the "R's" and 94-96 were the same with the canti-brake cable guide like on mine.

KEEP THE WANTS COMING. alot of good idea's! There really is a need for old/new SBC stuff!

Yeah, I think you're right. If that one up there is a '95 mine is definitely like a '97.

I'm still stuck in 1997 anyway.

Agreed on both the decals and that Hand Grenades. I need two sets of 95 Lengthy Sticker packs (both mine have the standing platform. I keep searching eBay for the aluminum Hand Grenades, but can never find them. I coud go for at least four sets of those.

Code, I don't think this is the web site that's causing you problems. I think it's that someone hacked into the network computers that resolve the "standardbyke.com" domain name to an IP address (that computers use as their ID) and routes you to a fake site.

I don't know if that'll fix it or not (since the chances are it'll be switched back to the domain name and then mis-routed again).

But, if you run a command window on your pc (Start>>run>>"cmd") and type "ping standardbyke.com" I bet you DON'T get 147.202.23.74...

For the website if I go through a search engine like google I get rerouted. If I type standardbyke.com into my address bar it works.

There website is being worked on, they dont know what happened and when. But it worked for me today!

IN THE PROCESS of vintage style prism decals resembling the 80's with standard touches! any intrest out there?

i'd prefer repros of the older sbc stickers. especially the ones that had the cobra on the headtube.

do you have a sample that you can post, so we know what exactly you're talking about?

i post a sample as soon as i get the art done. Prism backgrounds just to resemble 80's style. something different, for some of the retro-style bikes being built.

I was told bars ETA was 3 weeks. materials were the hold up. sometimes thats what holds a company back. bar ends there is no ETA, but im trying to talk Rick into making some new stuff, so you never know!!!

How about a really cool new school number plate. While were`re at it, how about some "STANDARD" brand numbers to go with it. If Standard made these products, even uncool people that don`t ride Standards could use them...... . Hey, everybody needs plates and numbers.

'99 STA sticker set in black with white outlines. I think the font was stenciled. My STA was originally white, so I'd prefer the original design for that year.

I'd like to get my hands on a jersey, but I've not seen any new ones for sale.

I am looking for the year-correct decals for this STANDARD STA 500 - R-Model. (the ones on there are obviously wrong, they are the only ones i could find!!):


From what I understand from the dude I bought it from (some time around 2000/2001??), it was in the first line of R-Model STA 500's. What year did the R-Model's first come out ?? 1999? 2000?
